Question 1

Are these keycaps compatible with all types of mechanical keyboards?

Accepted Answer

These keycaps are designed for ANSI layout keyboards and have a Cherry profile. Not all keyboards will be compatible due to differences in switch type or plate design. Check the manufacturer’s listing for exact compatibility before purchasing.

Question 2

What is the difference between PBT and ABS keycaps?

Accepted Answer

PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) keycaps are more durable and have a matte finish, whereas ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) keycaps are softer and have a glossy surface. Since this product specifies high-quality PBT material, it offers better longevity and a unique texture.

Question 3

How many keys does the set contain?

Accepted Answer

The Tsungup Cherry Blossom Tie-Dye Keycap Set includes 131 keys. This comprehensive set covers most of your keyboard needs but may not include all special function or media keys. Check if you need additional keycaps for your specific setup.

Question 4

Can these keycaps be used on wireless keyboards?

Accepted Answer

While the product itself does not claim wireless compatibility, many mechanical keyboards support USB or Bluetooth connectivity. You should check with your keyboard’s manufacturer to ensure it supports external keycaps before purchasing.

Question 5

Are there any color variations in the tie-dye design?

Accepted Answer

The tie-dye design features a gradient pattern inspired by cherry blossoms and can vary slightly from one set to another due to the custom printing process. Each set may have its unique blend of colors, so it’s best to review multiple images for an idea of what you might receive.

Question 6

How do I install these keycaps on my keyboard?

Accepted Answer

Installing keycaps typically involves removing the old ones and snapping in the new ones. Be gentle as they fit snugly but can be removed by applying slight pressure at the bottom. Follow your keyboard’s manual or online guides for detailed instructions, especially if you have a custom layout.

Question 7

How long will it take to receive these keycaps?

Accepted Answer

Since this product is sold through an affiliate link and shipped directly from the retailer (e.g., Amazon), delivery times can vary. Check with the retailer's shipping policies for estimated delivery dates based on your location.

Question 8

Can I return or exchange these keycaps if they don’t fit my keyboard?

Accepted Answer

If you receive missing or broken keycaps, contact the seller through the affiliate link to request replacements as soon as possible. For other issues, check the retailer’s return policy for details on how to process returns or exchanges.

Question 9

Are there any specific care instructions for these keycaps?

Accepted Answer

To maintain their appearance and durability, avoid exposing the keycaps to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals. Regular cleaning can be done with a soft cloth or mild soap solution. Always handle them gently to prevent damage.

Question 10

How do these keycaps fit into a typical gaming keyboard setup?

Accepted Answer
