DMCA / Copyright Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026 (draft)
Game screenshots, artwork, and descriptions on this site are sourced from the Steam Web API and belong to their respective developers/publishers. We use them in the context of an informational game database. If you're a rights holder and want something removed, we'll act on it quickly.
How to report
Email dmca@geekyalien.uk with:
- the specific page URL and material in question,
- a description of your rights to the material,
- your contact details,
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your report within 48 hours.
- We review it and, if valid, remove the specific material within 5 business days.
- We'll let you know once it's done.
Counter-notice
If we remove something and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to dmca@geekyalien.uk including:
- identification of the material and where it appeared before removal,
- a statement, made in good faith, that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification,
- your name, address, and phone number, and
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location (or, for UK-based disputes, England and Wales) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original complaint.
We'll forward a valid counter-notice to the person who filed the original complaint. This page describes a plain-language, good-faith process rather than a formal legal procedure under a specific statute — if a dispute becomes contentious, both sides should get proper legal advice rather than relying only on this page.
