Question 1

Are these keycaps compatible with all types of keyboards?

Accepted Answer

These keycaps are designed for PC keyboards and will fit most standard 1.3mm Cherry MX profile keyboards. However, check the specific model's keycap size compatibility before purchasing to ensure a perfect fit.

Question 2

Can I use these keycaps on my wireless keyboard?

Accepted Answer

While these keycaps are designed for mechanical keyboards with physical switches like Cherry MX, they won't function as actual keys; they just change the appearance. For wireless functionality, you'll need to pair them with a compatible keyboard that supports the new keycap profile.

Question 3

What does the set include?

Accepted Answer

The 114 Keys Clear Keycaps PC Cherry Profile White Transparent Keycaps Set includes all 114 keys needed for a full-size keyboard. Each key is transparent and white, providing a clean aesthetic to your setup.

Question 4

How easy are they to install?

Accepted Answer

Installation of these keycaps is relatively straightforward but requires some technical skill. You'll need to remove the old keycaps and press the new ones onto the switches. Ensure you handle them carefully as they can be delicate.

Question 5

Are these keycaps dishwasher safe?

Accepted Answer

No, these keycaps are not dishwasher safe. They should be cleaned by hand with mild soap and water or a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the transparency of the keycaps.

Question 6

How do I maintain them to keep them looking good?

Accepted Answer

To maintain their appearance, avoid exposing these keycaps to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Regular cleaning with a soft cloth can help remove fingerprints and dust. If needed, use isopropyl alcohol to gently clean stubborn stains, but be cautious as it might slightly affect the transparency.

Question 7

Will they interfere with my keyboard's performance?

Accepted Answer

These keycaps should not interfere with your keyboard’s performance if installed correctly. However, ensure that the new keys do not obstruct any switches or other components on your keyboard.

Question 8

Are these keycaps suitable for gaming?

Accepted Answer

Yes, these clear and white keycaps can enhance your gaming setup by providing a clean aesthetic. They are ideal for gamers who prefer a minimalist look without compromising on functionality. However, they may not be as visible in low-light conditions compared to colored keycaps.

Question 9

How do I know if the keycaps will fit my keyboard?

Accepted Answer

Check the keycap size compatibility of your keyboard with 1.3mm Cherry MX switches. Most full-size keyboards should fit these keycaps without issues, but it's always a good idea to measure or compare them against an existing set before purchasing.

Question 10

Can I get replacement keycaps if some are missing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you find that any of the keycaps are missing or broken, contact customer service for replacements. They will provide new keycaps at no additional cost to ensure your keyboard looks and functions as intended.
