A roguelite wizard dueling game where two wizards battle each other with epic spells, 4 interacting elements, and lots of potions. Master the magical combat and uncast the enemy wizard at the end of the battle. Earn crystals and unlock the most powerful spells, wands, wizards and upgrades.
About this game
Two wizards enter. One leaves. The other is Uncast forever.
Uncast is a pixel art roguelite where every duel is a battle of wits, timing and magic mastery. Choose your wizard, forge your spell loadout, and face an escalating gauntlet of enemies. Until you meet a boss, that will test everything you have.
⚔️ The Duel No armies. No maps. Just you and your opponent, wands raised, spells flying. Every duel is pure 1v1 wizardr. Read your enemy, pick your moment, unleash devastation. Fire meets water. Electricity tears through dark matter. Spells clash mid-air, collide, and explode. When the smoke clears, only one wizard remains.
🔮 Build Your Loadout With over 100 spells across four elements: Fire, Water, Electricity and Dark Matter. No two runs feel the same. Choose up to 6 spells before each duel, level them up between rounds, and craft combinations that obliterate. 12 neutral spells add another layer of strategy. 24 wands change how your magic behaves. 64 upgrades reshape your stats. 32 potions give you the edge when everything is on the line.
🧙 Choose Your Wizard 12 playable wizards, each a master of their element. Each with their own identity, playstyle and wand. Find yours.
🌍 8 Worlds. 16 Bosses. Fight through 8 hand-crafted pixel art worlds. From dark desert forests to volcanic castles. Each with its own atmosphere. Every third opponent is a boss. Sixteen of them stand between you and the most powerful wand in existence. They will not go quietly.
♾️ The Roguelite Loop Die. Learn. Rebuild. Between duels, spend your earnings in the upgrade shop, sharpen your spells, and choose your next potion. Every run gives you something new to try. Every death teaches you something. The loop is deep, fast and dangerously addictive.
🌐 Challenge the World Think you've mastered the arcane arts? Prove it. Challenge a friend or face a random opponent in online PvP duels. The same spell-clashing, wand-raising intensity: Now against a real wizard, who casts to Uncast you.

Multiplayer + Controller mode + loot + more
Yes, you read corrently. The demo has a multiplayer now!We are not crazy. Or maybe a little. From today on, you can play Uncast online with your friends on Steam or play against strangers online.This is an experimental multiplayer mode, that is very simple at the moment. Just 3 duels. Thats it. We try to keep things easy and get some feedback first.But in our tests we had a lot of fun dueling eachother and we hope you will have fun as well!Get your controller ready!We implemented a controlelr mode, that works a bit different than the standard experience with keyboard and mouse. You can turn on the experimental controller mode in the settings and try it our yourself with a ps controller. (We didnt test any other controllers just yet and there is no tutorial for it)Loot, loot and more loot. If you are lucky…There is a 10% chance, that an uncasted oponent, will drop you a random upgrade! And you can increase that probability with upgrades, that modify luck. WARNING: Its very satisfying, when the enemy drops you something valuable.On top of that, the boss wizards have a 0,5 % chance of dropping an unlockable. Meaning, they can drop you a spell, a wand, a wizard etc. You have to be veeeery lucky to get this though.Some other fixes and features.We added sparks to the mouse movements…Very satisfyingWe updated the cursors. There is a normal cursor, a cursor for hover and a cursor for the duel.We fixed some potions, that were not working.We are very excited about the journey.Our plans for Uncast are very huge and we plan many more things for the full version.So if you want to be part of it, stay tuned!
