As the last marine on 'Dawn', navigate treacherous corridors and face unknown threats. Uncover the catastrophe's secrets in Terminal Breach: Final Dawn, an intense 2025 action experience from Playthrough Experience.

About this game

The year is 2436. Space travel within and beyond the Solar System has long been the norm. Long-haul space freighters transport goods between star systems. As a result, space stations have been established in orbit around stars and their moons. Most of these stations serve as border points, quarantine zones, cargo transfer and refueling stations, as well as places for rest and other activities.

The new international station "Dawn" is one of the most advanced stations, built using cutting-edge technology. It is positioned in a stable orbit between Earth and the Moon, at the Lagrange point L1. In addition to its standard functions, the station has become a hub for scientific research and development. Far from Earth, experiments are being conducted to create advanced weapons, including biological weapons using materials harvested from other star systems.

Due to this, the "Dawn" station operates under a heightened security protocol. Military personnel, synthetic drones, and combat robots controlled by an artificial intelligence integrated into the station's onboard computer are responsible for its protection. 24 hours ago, communication with the station was suddenly lost. To investigate the situation, an elite space marine squad was dispatched.
"Terminal Breach: Final Dawn" is a first-person shooter inspired by cinematic science fiction and the golden age of classic FPS games.

The game features over 20 levels with intense combat, a structured narrative delivered through loading screen lore, pre-rendered cutscenes, and post-boss story sequences, as well as challenging boss encounters.

An original soundtrack was recorded specifically for the game and drives the experience forward.

Designed to run smoothly even on low-end hardware and featuring a fully responsive UI for all screen ratios, the game balances performance, accessibility, and atmosphere.

Hot fix (for hot issue of yesterday's patch)

I added an FPS limiter cap for 240 FPS, otherwise with Vsync off, GPU was going 100% (300~400 FPS is fun, but GPU always 100% and you can't see it anyways)

    Small addition to quality settings

Update 06/26/2026Added a few extra quality presets to the game. Before:PerformanceBalanceHigh FidelityNow:PerformanceBalance (VSync Off)Balance (VSync On)High Fidelity (VSync Off)High Fidelity (VSync On)What's the deal? Simple. Want a brutal 250+ FPS? Pick a VSync Off preset. The game will run like a beast, but you might see some screen tearing if your hardware struggles.Want that smooth, tear-free picture like before? Stick with VSync On. You'll get a solid 60 FPS (unless your PC is a literal calculator), with no visual glitches.Tested on two setups:i5-7400, GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB DDR4-2400: ~230+ FPS on High Fidelity (VSync Off).i3-6100, 4GB DDR4-2100 (integrated graphics): Runs like butter on the Performance preset. Played it on my TV like in the old days — didn't benchmark it exactly, but that preset already had VSync Off by default.Everything works even better than I hoped. Hope you enjoy it!

Small Patch/Update (Follow-up to the major update from a few days ago.)

Due to rework of enemy projectile scripts, the damage direction indicator was not working correctly. The indicator now properly shows the direction from which the attack came.

    Major Update

**Settings & Display**• The resolution menu now only lists resolutions and refresh rates (Hz) actually supported by your monitor.• Important for returning players: Due to architectural changes in the display system, the game may default to the lowest resolution on your first launch after the update. Simply switch it back to your preferred setting once—it will save automatically. New players are unaffected.**Cloud Saves**• Completely overhauled Steam Cloud integration. Save synchronization is now guaranteed to trigger immediately upon level completion.**Levels & Visuals**• Comprehensive revision of all levels: fixed minor bugs аnd geometry inconsistencies.• Improved texture quality in several areas.• Full Lighting Re-bake: All lightmaps have been recalculated from scratch. This eliminates light artifacts and enhances overall atmosphere. (Re-baking lightmaps is the main reason for the update's large file size).**Gameplay Fixes**• Eliminated camera micro-jitter when climbing slopes and stairs• Dark Matter projectiles and grenades no longer slip under enemies when fired at their feet while they charge at the player.• Fixed a rare physics glitch where jumping onto an enemy projectile could briefly let the player "ride" it instead of taking damage.**Final Notes**Core gameplay, story, and level layouts remain unchanged, but the technical foundation has been significantly refined. Thank you for playing Terminal Breach: Final Dawn!

    Patch Notes – February 2, 2026

Fixed an issue where the SFX volume slider sometimes failed to update audio for certain objects (enemies, environment, effects). All sounds should now properly respect your volume settings. Minor texture improvements and rebaked lighting on several levels for better visual quality. These changes do not affect gameplay, but i hope they enhance your overall experience.
