  The PUFFERFISH! (+ advanced race settings)

  Hey Nitro Turtles!A lot of players wanted more obstacles and combat items on the map so I just added this guy and he can EXPLODE. ALSO you can go fast now using the new advanced race settings. Like really fast.The advanced game settings are only available in race mode (SORRY speedrunners) to keep things fair but they should add a lot of depth to the already existing maps. But that's not all!   Patch 0.1.2 - Bug Fixes and Balance

  Hey Nitro Turtles! Today we've got another patch to keep the game polished and bug free, along with an important balance change. BalanceThe shellicopter has been buffed to have the same amount of speed boost as performance-enhancing seaweed. This is roughly an ~11% speed improvement from what it was before. Bug FixesFixed a bug introduced in last patch where you would walk on the tides in Tidebreaker Cove if they were moving downwardsFixed a bug where the game would lose controller focus if you clicked load more on the leaderboard menuFixed a bug where the lap leaderboard would infinitely try to load for Scorched Shell VolcanoFixed a bug where on low fps, the ghost recording system would upload ghosts that would replay extremely fast when downloadedFixed a bug where on low fps, there was a chance that you could be stuck in spectate mode even in offline game modes on finishing a race and reaching the goal. OtherThe game now throttles the FPS to 30 FPS when the window is not focused to save on system resources.A lot of these bugs were reported on the Nitro Turtles Discord!   Patch 1.0.1 - Lots of Optimizations and Bug Fixes!

  Hey everyone! Thank you to everyone who's played Nitro Turtles so far! I've just released the game's first patch to fix some of the bugs and performance problems that people were having at launch.OptimizationsAdded a terrain quality mode - increases FPS by around 30+% on low!Added a shadow quality option - adjusts shadow resolution and splitting for performanceAdditionally, the game now defaults to having SSAO off, FXAA as anti aliasing, terrain quality on low, and shadow quality on low. This is to provide most players with the fastest out of the box experience and highest FPS. Bug FixesFixed a bug where players could not get the Cracked Shell Crater mastery achievement. Sorry about this! Fixed a bug where you could swim in the lava at a specific spot in Cracked Shell CraterFixed a bug where the item pool could be carried over from speedruns into racesFixed a bug where mismatch of unlocked skins on hosts and clients could result in the wrong skin showing for clients, or even invisible skins in some casesFixed many scenarios where input could be disabled after using the chatFixed a bug where on extremely low FPS the turtles and cameras would spin uncontrollablyFixed a bug where it was possible to get stuck in a wall at a specific spot on Nitro Turtles Circuit Thank you everyone who reported bugs on the Nitro Turtles Discord!
