Battle and bet your way through dozens of colorful bosses and a wealth of extracurricular activities as you fight to erase your debts once and for all!
Game Features
The world's first crustacean debt simulator. Your creditors are dangerously upset with you. Pay them off, or fight them to the death. Dozens of tenacious bosses demand remuneration—or your life!
Toss, catch, repeat. Bullet hell meets Breakout. Dodge, parry, and punish foes with effects like poison, hex, and bleed.
Link and build. Deep roguelike progression featuring over 50 unique weapons and 200+ synergistic upgrades. Tap an array of buddies for direct and indirect combat support. Hang out dockside and read mail from your neighbors!
All play, no jobs. Connect with vagrants and transient visitors over games of skill and chance. Hustle dozens of unique minigames that offer risky paths to financial freedom or to ruin.
Chips fall. Manage your time and finances carefully within the Bayou's predatory economy. The deck is stacked against you. Scrounge every dollar. Gamble it all away, or save and invest. Put bold parlays on your own performance in combat!

Bleu Bayou Demo v2.0.0.0 is now live! Featuring a wealth of new gameplay mechanics, upgrades, and activities—and a thorough heart & soul pass—the demo is now a complete vertical slice of the first few hours of Bleu Bayou in its current state of development. Demo 1.0.5 is here! This update introduces new gameplay features and improved controller support.We've implemented a "boss adjective" system. Over the course of a run, bosses can gain descriptive adjectives that influence their attributes and behavior. This lends more variety and replay value to boss fights. Adjectives are displayed on the boss's page in the debt book, to help you plan your approach!We've also implemented given bosses "hired goons" - unique, henchman-like mobs that can enter boss fights to back them up and keep you on your toes!Controller support has been improved. We've fixed a major issue with Sony gamepad support.
