About this game
You are the only one stopping an alien invasion... and loving every second of it! In this remake of 2014's Wrack, play as Kain as you shoot, slash, and hyperblast your way through a horde of invading aliens and robots to keep your planet safe.
Kill Streaks: Rack up kill after kill to earn a kill streak! The more damage you pump into an enemy, the more extreme its death, and the more time you have to keep your streak going.
Resets: Kill enemies a second time by exploding their corpse into giblets to reset your timer! Use your current weapon(s), or your melee attack to slice a corpse to bits.
Fast Movement: Use your fast movement speed and abilities, like a super jump, to evade enemy attacks, and find secrets and treasure!
Bosses: When you're done racking up a huge kill streak, duke it out with minibosses and bosses... and put your skills to the test!

New Weapons: Expand your arsenal with the addition of the gloogun, SMG, and railgun! (The Pulsar will return...) In addition, all weapons now have an alternate fire giving you a richer, more in-depth experience.
Hyperblasts: Build them up by dealing damage, and then unleash your powerful hyperblasts to take down tough enemies, or wipe out groups of weak ones!
Unreal Engine: Wrack has been remade in Unreal Engine 4, to give you the most optimized, high-fidelity experience possible.

Achievements Update - v1.3
Hello everyone!Wrack returns (wreturns?) with version 1.3 - the achievements update! Now, you can accomplish and perform certain feats in the game that will be visible to others. So, get out there and drill two enemies in the head with a single railgun attack, and... die in the tutorial? Seems strange. Anyway! Here's what else is new:OTHER CHANGESChanged the mouse sensitivity slider step amount from 0.1 to 0.05.Lowered the minimum mouse sensitivity to 0.05.Fixed the "Crouch/Super Jump" prompt not displaying in the tutorial.Fixed weird behavior from snipe soldiers (movement not stopping, lights staying on, etc.).Fixed broken normals on Giggordo. Thanks everyone!Read full article on Community Announcements (Carnevil)Patch NotesOfficial
Achievements Update Coming Next Week
Hello everyone! It's been a while. We have news, so let's get right to it!Achievements UpdateFirst off, our big achievements update will be here next week! You all have been demanding it, and we've finally made it happen. We're looking to add somewhere between 30-50 achievements for you to earn. Hopefully, they won't be as hard to get as the original game... but hey, sometimes I just can't help myself!Invasion Mode / Endless ModeWe definitely feel the need to add more playable content to the game. So, after achievements will be the invasion update. We're still trying to figure this one out, but it'll likely involve some type of rogue-lite randomness in the form of choosing upgrade perks. Should be fun!Beyond that, we're looking to add one more extra mode - something like an endless mode. We have some ideas, but it's something we hope to be able to talk about more real soon.Looking to the FutureOf course, the big one - episode 2! I'm pleased to announce that we are indeed working on it. While I can't say too much about it right now, I think it will be a big step up in quality over the first episode. Reclamation started off with a remake of the original Wrack (not the original plan!), but starting with episode 2, we'll have brand new enemies, levels, and bosses. Just look at this cute little guy you'll be facing! Some Closing ThoughtsWe took a nice, long break after Reclamation came out to recharge our batteries, and evaluate things. To be honest, it wasn't looking like we would continue with it. The game didn't exactly make a lot of money, and there didn't seem to be a lot of interest in the game. I think I can safely say that it was demoralizing for all of us.But, I realized something - that's not what it's about. That's never been what it's about. Sure, I would like for it to be successful, but I do this because I love it. I love coming up with characters, enemies, levels, and so on... I love making games, and putting everything that this amazing team does together....Read full article on Community Announcements (Carnevil)Patch NotesOfficial

Quick Play Update - Version 1.2
Merrily, we roll along (oh wait, Christmas is over) with another big, juicy, post-release update! What's in it, you ask?! Let's get right to it!QUICK PLAYThe main new feature of this update? Quick Play! You can now replay any map you've already beaten from the main menu. Plus, you can view your highest score, fastest time, best medal, and whether or not you've gotten the tyderium coins on that particular map - all using the tab key! Now you can go after those missing compendium entries with extreme precision.PLAY MUSICSpeaking of the compendium, it's also gotten a big update - the ability to play music! If you've found yourself enjoying the game's music, and wish you could give it a listen without fighting for your life... first of all, you're not alone! Second of all, you can now do so within the compendium. You can even toggle the music intensity, to listen to parts that only play when things are going down (high streak, boss almost dead, etc.).MISCELLANEOUSOf course, that's not all. Here are some of the other changes in v1.2:Giggordo now appears on the title screen (if you've beaten the secret level with at least a gold medal).Added green warmup blinking (like what's seen on the sentries and Geizer) to the snipe soldier, and certain boss attacks (Galactron, Gnash, Oculus).Fixed some modeling issues with Giggordo.Fixed music stopping after beating Giggordo.Fixed secret areas blocking enemy sight. This made several enemies seemingly oblivious to you.Proper loading of assets ahead of time for switches, and the soul projector on E1L1.Now, we'll be shifting our focus towards challenge mode - finally giving you something to do with those collected tyderium coins. This will be the focus of the next major update!Thank you, and really hope you enjoy this update! Be sure to let us know what you think.Read full article on Community Announcements (Carnevil)
