Content notice: This game contains frequent combat sequences with various levels of gore, including decapitation and dismemberment. The narrative features dark themes and moral ambiguity. Some characters such as Ghouls (undead prisoners) wear little to no clothing with genitalia exposed in some cases. About this game
Nailcrown is a savage boomer shooter packed with high-velocity gunplay, brutal melee combat, and a dynamic gore system in a brutal, old-school FPS setting, carved from the darkest corners of medieval fantasy.
Run & gun through dark, twisted hellscapes either alone or in CO-OP, as you rip through ghouls, minotaurs, trolls, and more to fulfill your purpose.
Craving more blood? Then join the undead in Multiplayer and battle other players in brutal Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch modes.
Boomer-Shooter Brutality:
Fast, uncompromising combat driven by momentum and a dynamic gore system, shatter bones, splatter blood, and send limbs flying with brutal strikes.
A Toolbox of Execution:
Massacre your enemies with an arsenal of the genre's greatest classics, such as the Nailgun, Shotgun and the Lightning-infused Impaler, or make it close and personal with a razor-sharp sword or skull-crushing warhammer.

Nailcrown - Public Playtest, Demo and Release Date Window
There are news to share, ghouls. It's almost time for us to stop talking and hand you the game over to play. Here's what's currently planned for Nailcrown's future. Public Playtest (December 2026) In just a couple months, we'll be hosting a public playtest here on Steam. For now, we can share that the playtest will be focusing on multiplayer, so keep an eye out as we’ll be giving you more details in the upcoming weeks. And don't worry, the playtest won't disrupt your Christmas vacations! Public Demo (Early 2027) Early next year, there will be another opportunity for you to try the game, as we're planning to launch a public demo by then. It will include never before seen levels and will be available on Steam so everyone can have a little appetizer before the full carnage gets unleashed. Full Release (2027) And when you had a taste, you won’t have to wait too long for the main course as 2027 Is the planned year of Nailcrown’s full release. The darkness is closing in. And this time, we're bringing a lot more firepower. We’re showing Nailcrown in a whole new light. As part of the Future Games Show, we’ve unleashed a brand-new trailer packed with everything Nailcrown is all about: fast-paced gunplay, brutal melee combat, dark-fantasy horrors, and enough flying limbs to make a necromancer proud. If you’ve been wondering what awaits you beyond the gates, now’s your chance to take a closer look. From hordes of undead to monstrous creatures, every encounter is designed to keep you moving, shooting, slashing, and fighting for survival. Map Showcase - Catacombs (Map 12)
There will be a lot of dark and mysterious locations in Nailcrown, with Catacombs being one of the most significant. They are composed of narrow, almost claustrophobic hallways, but also open space rooms with enough room for hordes of enemies. You'll notice a lot of torturing tools along the way, but if you're not into that kind of thing, you can move along. There are plenty to be found, but as it would come from the definition of the word "secret", it's usually not easy.
