Blade Rush is a frantic top-down shooter where you pilot your Blade, shooting and boosting through waves of alien creatures. Pave your way through the endless swarm, and be careful not to overheat!

With Blade Rush I wanted to make a classic arcade-style game with quick runs and tons of replayability, with the classic pick-up and play, easy to learn hard to master gameplay loop, and a ton of extra unlockable content to keep things fresh. I wanted anyone to be able to pick it up and have a good time, without needing to be good at these kinds of games. I hope you enjoy it!

Blade Rush - Version 1.7.4 + Bullet Fest
Hi! Another small update, also an announcement that Blade Rush will be part of the Bullet Festival!! If you haven't already now is a good time to pick up the game at a pretty hefty discount. Additionally, if you like the game and haven't already left a review, I would really appreciate it! It helps a lot! Fixed another boss rush bug related to the setting of the boss warning. This gamemode haunts my soul and I'm sorry if you've run into this bug and *still* not been able to complete boss rush! After a little back and forth, I opted to change the conditions for the Random Boss mutator. This has been in my head for a long time, and put simply Bosses typically have behaviour that relies on the map chosen for them in the campaign. Having it be available anywhere I think opens up to a lot of jank and bugs which I would feel bad about if it were kept the way it is. Hi all, Extremely sorry these two bug weren't noticed sooner!Fixed Boss Rush quitting after first boss. Fixed an extremely rare bug where after dying (player destroyed/removed from the level), if an event or bonus caused your multiplier to reset (via a bonus resetting the timer, then the timer running out), the game would crash.
