How's it going, my jello ones?! Mr. Jello has been obsessing over the player experience and went a little crazy — now all he cares about is making the game more responsive to player actions and helping people figure out what makes the game fun.New minigame selection systemMinigames will now be chosen more selectively: some minigames will take longer to show up, ensuring the first ones are always the easiest to pick up. We've also made it impossible for two minigames from the same visual category to appear back-to-back.Improved Juiciness in several parts of the game! And there's more to come!!!!We're working on making the game feel more juicy — we want everything in our game to feel ALIVE!The most important highlights are the changes on minigames and initial menu JuicyNot only that, but we've also polished the random events.Bug fixesImproved clicking on several objects on the mapVisual highlight in the tutorialCurrent development prioritiesThe priority remains the same, but we've also added juicy improvements — the reason being that it yields similar results with less effort across many more areas.Enlarge the boardFluidity improvementsImprove the board game loopSpeed up the bots and prevent issues with them on the board For those of you who read this far and don't know how to join the playtest: just head to the Steam page, and at the bottom you'll find the option to redeem the free open playtest of our game! Hello to every JelloPerson once again I'm here to bring you the news! Mr. Jello got into trouble again after the marketing episode.... After long conversations with friends, Mr Jello now have a very different vision of where he wants to the game with a major shift in focus, he is a pratically a solo dev for now but he says he will take careNew additions to the boardWe want to transform and differentiate our board from other similar games, so the first step for that is random events. These events will also serve, for now, to help balance the game. From the 2nd round and for negative ones after the 3rd round, random events can be triggered when using cards or landing on red and blue spaces. Among those, we have 8 voting events that can be either individual or collective. And we also have events to randomly improve the current dice power, with higher chances for those who are behind in the game or have just died. The beginning of the board also received a major overhaul on tutorial text to help new players understand the game mechanics.Bug fixes and quality of lifeAdded click effects to the coffee penguin, mechanical trees, and the DJ penguinReduced the difficulty of the Lights bot for RequiemAdded the "WOLOLO" and "Klabotaucius" botsMany text improvements overallCurrent development priorityAfter thinking a lot over the ideas, we will have a major focus on improving the board and making our game more unique and functional. Minigames will stay in the oven since they are already delivering what's needed.Expand the boardImprove the board game loopSpeed up the bots and prevent issues with them on the board For you who read this far and don't know how to play the playtest, you just need to enter the Steam page and at the bottom there will be the option to redeem the open playtest of our game for free!
