About this game

Fight against hordes of enemies and collect their souls to gain special soulpower attacks.
Try to survive against various monsters for 30 minutes on each of the 5 challenging maps.
You can aim your weapon in all directions with your mouse or the right stick on your gamepad.
But keep your stamina in mind, each swing and dodge drains a part of it.

Level up your character with the collected souls.
Souls are not just used to fill your soulpower bar and unlock powerful attacks inside an area.
You can also use them to level up your stamina, strength, health and stamina regeneration on the long term.

Loot chests to get new weapons and armor. Enemies drop random loot chests with tasty resources and procedurally generated weapons and armor.

Mine stones and fell trees to gather resources. Craft powerful weapons and armor at the forge with the collected resources.
Increase your blacksmith skill to become a master blacksmith!

Upgrade your hometown to increase your resource storage, improve the forge and more.

Soulknight Survivor will become free to play
Hey everyone,I've been thinking about this step for over a year now, and I finally made the decision.Sales have slowed down a lot, and I'd rather have more people enjoy the game instead of earning a few extra bucks a year from it.If you already own the game, thank you for supporting me and for all the feedback I recieved over the recent years! But I hope you understand this decision. So in a few weeks, Soulknight Survivor will become free to play.Have fun! :DRead full article on Community Announcements (support)AnnouncementsOfficial
Soulknight Survivor v.1.056
If you’re just here for the patchnotes, feel free to scroll down. It’s been a long time since the last update, and I want to be honest with you...For the past few months, I wasn’t even sure if I’d finish this one.I’m someone with a lot of dreams, and one of them was to release a game on Steam. That dream came true, and it’s been a great experience—not just from a game design perspective, but also in learning so much more about the industry as a whole.First of all, I want to thank everyone who joined me on this journey and enjoyed Soulknight Survivor. I'm not a professional developer, but I genuinely enjoyed improving the game bit by bit based on the constructive feedback I received. That said, I’m still working full-time as a mechanic, so I can’t continue developing this project indefinitely.I hope this final update (or maybe more... if I feel a scribble in my fingers again 😄) addresses a lot of the issues—especially for those who didn’t enjoy the grindier parts of the game.Since this update took quite a while, I want to go a bit deeper into the reasoning behind some of the changes:New Quest SystemTo be honest, I have no idea why I thought this was a great idea a year ago—it took so much time to implement, and I’m definitely not the best story writer 😅Still, I hope it brings a few smiles here and there. Each map now has a questline. For every quest you complete, you gain +3% Soulpower damage. This should help make things a bit easier as you progress.Spears Are Now Throwing WeaponsLet’s face it—spears never really held up against swords. Making them longer or increasing their reach didn’t help much either. So why not turn them into throwing weapons and offer a real alternative to the already solid melee option?Weapon Charge SlowdownI know a lot of you disliked the slowdown when charging your weapon, so I reduced it even further. And with the mastery now working correctly, it’s actually possible to completely eliminate the slowdown.Yes, you heard that right—you can now pla...Read full article on Community Announcements (support)AnnouncementsOfficial
Soulknight Survivor v.1.054
Deleted the "auto-aim on/off" description from the gamepad controls window, as it is not usable anymore since v.1.51 on gamepad. Bushes now have a Z-Level, so they can be drawn above or below the player based on the player's position on the y-axis. Added the missing bushes/grass from the last update to be destroyable. Added a sound when a bomb is activated by the player. Updated ppfx (graphical effects library) to the recent version. Bugfix: Destroyable bushes were always drawn above the player in the village. Bugfix: Addressed the bug with the flash soul power again. Hopefully, it's truly fixed this time. Bugfix: Background of the speech bubbles was not drawn correctly.Read full article on Community Announcements (support)Patch NotesOfficial
Soulknight Survivor v.1.053
All texts are now rendered by the newly implemented Scribble extension. Hope everything looks crisp now :) Several (now unneeded) fonts were deleted, which should decrease texture pages and improve performance. Added some missing translations. Bushes are now slashable. What do they drop? Nothing, but it's fun xD Bugfix: Fixed a bug that occurred when the flash soulpower followed an enemy out of sight. Some minor bug fixes.Read full article on Community Announcements (support)Patch NotesOfficial
Soulknight Survivor v.1.052
This update is a follow-up to the last update. I'm currently working on migrating most of the texts to the newly implemented Scribble text rendering extension. The SE-Development logo is now loaded as a graphic instead of a font to save texture page memory. Adjusted the vertical position of several windows to be more central. Added some missing translations. Replaced several texts with "Scribble" text rendering to make them more readable and dynamic. The item name in the chest window now shrinks to fit the window width if it's too long. Added stat change numbers to the chest window, making it easier to decide if you want to scrap an item. Bugfix: In the chest window, it was not possible to select "scrap" for ring items.Read full article on Community Announcements (support)
