In Finesse, master precise timing and gravity-defying jumps as you navigate through a relentless barrage of lasers. Developed by Abscure, this fast-paced platformer tests your reflexes in a high-stakes arena where every move counts.

About this game

Finesse has a simple premise: avoid the lasers. They will zap you. If you get zapped, you lose health. If you lose enough health, it's game over.

How you go about avoiding the lasers is the fun part. You play as a world-class athlete who can jump like a pole vaulter, contort like a gymnast, and dress in fun costumes. You also have the ability to bend time--that part especially comes in handy.

With just one button you can halve the speed of any given animation. While the lasers continue to move at the same pace, you can hang in the air for several seconds or, if necessary, keep your belly on the ground. It also looks really cool.

This update introduces diagonally-moving lasers! Be on the lookout for obstacles that start high and go low. You can also find a preview of an upcoming feature. Look for the "Disco" button on the "Studio" tab in the menu.

    7/15 Afternoon Patch

First, an update on the analog stick issue. It seems that some players are able to use the analog stick as intended and that it may be a client-side issue (with myself being the client facing troubles!). Because of that, I'm moving it to a lower priority on the to-do list. Regardless, I do recommend using the D-Pad to control the game for the sake of precision. But I also want the left analog stick to at least be functional. At the moment the biggest issue is: when you leave the tutorial and go to the Tour mode, the lasers don't move. Fixing this is the priority. If you face this issue, it can be temporarily resolved on your end by restarting the game (not ideal, I know). With that out of the way, I do have a new "feature" to report: camera resetting! Press R3 (controller) or C (keyboard) to move the camera back to the original position. Thank you for your feedback and your support.
