K/D & KDA ratio calculator
Work out your kill/death ratio or KDA ratio from your kills, deaths and assists — for any competitive game.
Toggle between K/D (kills ÷ deaths) and KDA (kills + assists, divided by deaths) — the same page covers both so you don't need two near-identical calculators. 0 deaths is treated as 1 death rather than an error, since an undefeated session is a valid, common result, not a broken input.

Say you finished a session with 45 kills and 30 deaths. K/D mode: 45 ÷ 30 = 1.50 — on average, 1.5 kills for every death.
Add 20 assists from the same session and switch to KDA mode: (45 + 20) ÷ 30 = 65 ÷ 30 ≈ 2.17 — noticeably higher than the plain K/D, because assists count toward the total without needing an extra kill.
FAQ
What's the difference between K/D and KDA?
K/D only counts kills and deaths. KDA also counts assists — (kills + assists) / deaths — which rewards team play and support roles more, so it's usually the metric shown in team games like Valorant, Overwatch and League of Legends.
What happens if I have 0 deaths?
0 deaths is treated the same as 1 death for the calculation — the standard convention used by mainstream stat trackers — rather than an error.
Does this work for any game?
Yes — it's a generic calculator, not tied to a specific game or its data. Enter your own kills, deaths and (for KDA) assists from whichever game you're checking, whether that's CS2, Valorant, Warzone, Apex, Fortnite, League of Legends, Overwatch, or anything else.
What happens if I enter negative numbers?
Negative kills, deaths, or assists aren't accepted — the calculator won't show a result until the numbers are valid.
How is the K/D ratio calculated?
Kills divided by deaths (treated as 1 if deaths are 0).
How is the KDA ratio calculated?
(Kills + assists) divided by deaths (treated as 1 if deaths are 0).
Can I use KDA mode with only kills and deaths, no assists?
No — KDA mode needs all three numbers. If you don't have an assists figure, use K/D mode instead.
How precise is the result shown?
The ratio is shown to two decimal places.
Why does KDA usually look higher than K/D for the same game?
Because assists add to the numerator without needing an extra kill — KDA credits team contributions that K/D ignores entirely.
Does this calculator also work out win rate or other stats?
No — it's focused on K/D and KDA only. For win rate, see the separate win rate calculator.
