Achievement completion calculator
Work out your achievement completion percentage, and how many more you need for a target.
This doesn't look up any game's achievements automatically — enter your own counts from your Steam profile or the game itself.
There's no per-game achievement data behind this — you supply the unlocked and total counts yourself, so it works the same way for any game, including combined base-game-plus-DLC totals if you add those achievements in too.
Want a time estimate for your backlog instead? Try the backlog time calculator.

Say you've unlocked 15 achievements out of 60 total — that's 15 ÷ 60 × 100 = 25% completion. To reach 50%, you need 0.50 × 60 − 15 = 15 more achievements.
That's 15 more out of the 45 you still have locked — a bit under a third of what's left gets you to the halfway point. Aim higher, say 90%, and the number needed grows accordingly: 0.90 × 60 − 15 = 39 more achievements.
FAQ
How is completion percentage calculated?
Achievements unlocked divided by total achievements, shown as a percentage.
Where do I find my achievement counts?
This calculator doesn't look them up automatically — check your Steam profile or the game's achievement page and enter the numbers yourself.
What if I enter more unlocked achievements than the total?
That's rejected as invalid — unlocked can't exceed the total achievement count.
How is 'achievements needed' for a target calculated?
The smallest number of additional achievements that brings your percentage up to the target you enter, capped at however many are actually still locked.
Can I target less than 100%?
Yes — enter any target between 1% and 100%, not just full completion.
What if I'm already past my target?
It shows 0 more needed — you've already reached it.
Does this work for any game?
Yes — it's a generic calculator based only on the numbers you enter, not tied to a specific game's data.
Does this account for hidden or secret achievements?
Not specifically — include them in your total count if you know about them, the same as any other achievement.
Can I use this for DLC achievements too?
Yes — just include them in both your unlocked and total counts if you want a combined base-game-plus-DLC figure.
Does this estimate how long completion will take?
No — it only counts achievements, not time. Pair it with the backlog time calculator if you want a time estimate too.
Can I use multiple targets to see the difference?
Yes — change the target field to compare, e.g. how many more achievements 50% needs versus 90%. The required number grows the higher the target.
Does this support tracking more than one game at once?
No — it's a single-game tool. Run it again with a different game's counts to check another one.
