Question 1

Is this cleaner suitable for VR headsets?

Accepted Answer

This cleaner is designed to be safe for use on glasses and sunglasses. While it's not specifically marketed as a VR headset cleaner, you can check the manufacturer’s listing or consult their customer support for confirmation if your VR headset uses lenses similar to those of glasses or sunglasses.

Question 2

Can I clean my camera lens with this kit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the AXATY Glasses Lens Cleaner Kit is suitable for cleaning camera lenses. The anti-static properties help prevent dust and dirt from sticking, ensuring a streak-free finish on both your VR headset lenses and camera lenses alike.

Question 3

How many sprays are included in each bottle?

Accepted Answer

Each of the two 60ml bottles in the AXATY kit contains enough cleaner for multiple uses. Typically, one spray is sufficient to clean most glasses or camera lenses effectively, so you can get several cleanings from each bottle before needing more.

Question 4

What kind of cloths are included with this kit?

Accepted Answer

The kit includes three microfibre cloths designed specifically for cleaning delicate surfaces like glasses and camera lenses. These cloths are soft and gentle to avoid scratching or damaging the lenses, making them ideal for maintaining a streak-free appearance on your VR headset.

Question 5

How does this cleaner compare to other lens cleaners?

Accepted Answer

This AXATY kit offers a convenient combination of spray and cloths in a compact package. While it may not have as many sprays as some larger kits, the anti-static properties can be an advantage for reducing dust attraction on lenses. It’s generally comparable to other budget-friendly options but tailored more towards glasses and camera lenses.

Question 6

Is this cleaner safe for use with screens?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can safely use this cleaner on screens such as those found in VR headsets or smartphones. The anti-static properties help prevent static from attracting dust, which is beneficial when cleaning sensitive electronic components like displays.

Question 7

How should I store the cleaner and cloths?

Accepted Answer

Store both the sprays and cloths in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain their effectiveness. Keeping them in a protective case or container can also help prevent accidental spills or damage during transport.

Question 8

Can this kit be used by someone who is allergic to alcohol-based cleaners?

Accepted Answer

If you are sensitive to alcohol-based cleaners, it’s important to check the ingredients list on the AXATY cleaner before using it. The kit may contain alcohol as a solvent; if not, it would be safe for those with such allergies. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first if unsure.

Question 9

How often should I clean my lenses?

Accepted Answer

The frequency of cleaning depends on how frequently you use your VR headset or glasses and the environment in which they are used. Regularly wiping down the lenses after each use can help maintain clarity and prevent buildup of oils, dust, and smudges that could affect your experience.

Question 10

Is this kit easy to set up and use?

Accepted Answer

Setting up is straightforward; simply spray a small amount onto one of the microfibre cloths or directly on the lens you wish to clean. Gently wipe in circular motions to remove any smudges, then dry with another cloth if needed. The ease of use makes it perfect for quick and efficient cleaning sessions.
