Question 2

Can I use this drive to store large files like video or game saves?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD is designed to handle large files efficiently. With its high read and write speeds of up to 1050MB/s and 1000MB/s respectively, it can quickly store and access large files such as videos, game saves, or high-resolution photos without slowing down your workflow.

Question 3

What kind of protection does the IP65 rating offer?

Accepted Answer

The IP65 rating indicates that this SSD is dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. However, it’s important to note that full submersion in liquids will not be covered by the IP65 rating.

Accepted Answer

The SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD is built with durability in mind. It features a robust design and includes a hardware carabiner for easy attachment to keys or bags, reducing the risk of accidental drops. Additionally, its water resistance (IP65) adds another layer of protection against environmental hazards.

Question 5

What comes included with the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD?

Accepted Answer

The package typically includes the 8TB SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD, a USB Type-C to Type-A cable for connecting to older devices, and a user manual. It’s important to check the manufacturer's listing or retailer details for exact contents as they may vary slightly.

Question 6

How long does it take to transfer data using this drive?

Accepted Answer

Given its high read/write speeds of up to 1050MB/s and 1000MB/s respectively, transferring large files with the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD can be very fast. For example, a full-length HD movie (around 4GB) could transfer in just seconds, significantly speeding up your data management tasks.

Question 7
