Accepted Answer

This extension lead is designed to provide power and USB charging for multiple devices in your home or office. It can support a variety of gaming peripherals such as controllers, headsets, and even small gaming consoles if they fit within the 3250W capacity limit. Check the manufacturer's listing for exact compatibility with specific devices.

Question 2

Can I use this extension lead with my wireless gaming mouse?

Accepted Answer

While this extension lead has multiple USB ports, it is not designed specifically for wireless devices like a gaming mouse. However, if your mouse requires charging via USB and fits within the available ports, you can still charge it. For wireless devices, consider using additional power banks or adapters.

Question 3

How many devices can I plug into this extension lead?

Accepted Answer

This extension lead offers 5 USB ports for charging and an 8-way socket tower with 4 switches. You can connect up to 12 devices in total (including USB devices and those plugged into the socket tower). Ensure that the combined power consumption does not exceed the 3250W limit.

Yes, this extension lead includes a night light feature. The lights can help you see the switches and sockets in low-light conditions without needing to turn on room lights. This is particularly useful for late-night gaming sessions or when working at your desk.

Question 5

Is this surge protector reliable?

Accepted Answer

This HAFINO extension lead comes with built-in surge protection, which helps safeguard your devices from power surges and lightning strikes. It is designed to protect against voltage spikes that can damage sensitive electronics. Always ensure the extension lead is properly grounded for maximum safety.

Question 6

Can I use this extension lead in a wet environment?

Accepted Answer

This extension lead is not intended for use in wet or damp environments due to its electrical components and potential exposure to water. Using it outdoors or near water sources could pose a risk of electric shock. Keep it in a dry location away from moisture.

Question 7

The extension cable provided with this tower lead measures 1.8 meters (approximately 6 feet). This length should be sufficient for most home and office setups, but if you need more space, consider purchasing an additional extension cord or a longer version of this product.

Question 8

Accepted Answer

While the 3250W capacity is substantial, powering multiple monitors can vary depending on their wattage. Generally, two to three monitors should be manageable within the limit, but always check the total power consumption of your monitors and other devices before connecting them.

Question 9

How do I set up this extension lead?

Accepted Answer

Setting up this tower extension lead is straightforward. First, plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Then, connect your devices to the available USB ports or socket tower switches. The 4-way switch allows you to control which outlets are live, providing flexibility in managing power usage.
