Question 1

What devices can this UPS power?

Accepted Answer

This SKE Mini UPS is designed to provide backup power for small electronics like routers and modems. While it supports USB Type-C charging ports, check the manufacturer’s listing or device documentation for exact compatibility with your specific router or modem model.

Question 2

Is this suitable for gaming consoles?

Accepted Answer

Gaming consoles typically require more power than what a 20000mAh battery can provide. For most gaming consoles, you’d need a UPS with significantly higher capacity. Check the console’s power requirements to ensure compatibility.

Question 3

How long will it last on a single charge?

Accepted Answer

The duration of backup power depends on the device and its power consumption. On average, this UPS can provide several hours of backup power for routers or modems. For precise estimates, refer to the manufacturer's specifications based on your specific usage scenario.

Question 4

Can I use it with different devices that require 5V/9V/12V?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this UPS supports multiple output voltages (5V, 9V, and 12V) which can power various small electronics. However, always ensure the device you plan to connect is compatible with these voltage outputs and does not exceed the maximum current rating of the UPS.

Question 5

What comes in the box?

Accepted Answer

The SKE Mini UPS typically includes the battery unit itself, a USB Type-C cable for charging, and possibly a surge protector. Check the retailer’s listing or manufacturer's website for an exact list as it can vary slightly.

Question 6

How do I set up this UPS?

Accepted Answer

Setting up is straightforward. Plug one end of the USB Type-C cable into your router or modem and the other end into the UPS. Ensure all connections are secure, then connect a power outlet to the surge protector part of the UPS. Follow any additional setup instructions provided by the manufacturer.

Question 7

How do I maintain this UPS?

Accepted Answer

Regularly check the battery for any signs of damage or wear. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and ensure proper ventilation during operation. Refer to the user manual for detailed maintenance instructions.

Question 8

Can I use this with wireless devices like routers?

Accepted Answer

Wireless routers can be powered by this UPS, but they typically require more power than what a 20000mAh battery can provide. For reliable backup, consider using it with wired devices or check the router’s power requirements against the UPS capacity.

Question 9

How does this compare to other UPS models?

Accepted Answer

This SKE Mini UPS is compact and designed for small electronics like routers and modems. It offers a balance between size and functionality but may not be suitable for larger devices that require more power. Compare its features, such as battery capacity and supported voltages, with other models in the same category to find one that best fits your needs.

Is this UPS compatible with UK power outlets?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this UPS is designed for use with UK power outlets. It includes a standard UK plug, making it easy to integrate into your existing setup without needing an adapter or converter.
