Accepted Answer

Yes, the ROFAVEZCO HDMI Splitter is designed to work with your PS5. It supports 4K resolution at 60Hz and HDCP2.2, ensuring you can enjoy high-definition gaming without any issues.

Question 2

Can I use this splitter for my Xbox console?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! This splitter is compatible with Xbox consoles as well, providing a seamless connection for your gaming experience. It supports both 4K at 60Hz and HDCP2.2, making it perfect for modern gaming setups.

Question 3

What other devices can I connect to this HDMI splitter?

Accepted Answer

You can use this splitter for various devices such as SkyQ, Fire Stick, BluRay players, Apple TV, and projectors. It’s versatile enough to handle multiple high-definition sources, ensuring you get a clear picture on both monitors.

Question 4

How does the 18Gbps bandwidth affect my video quality?

Accepted Answer

The 18Gbps bandwidth ensures that your video quality remains crisp and detailed, even when streaming in 4K. This high-speed transmission prevents any lag or pixelation, providing a smooth viewing experience on both monitors.

Question 5

What is the EDID function used for?

Accepted Answer

The EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) function allows each monitor to recognize the signal from the splitter and adjust its settings accordingly. This ensures that both screens display content correctly without any compatibility issues.

Question 6

How do I set up this HDMI splitter?

Accepted Answer

Setting up is straightforward. First, connect one end of the HDMI cable to your source device (like a PS5 or Xbox). Then, plug the other end into the input port on the splitter. From there, connect each monitor to an output port on the splitter. Make sure both monitors are powered on and set to the correct input.

Question 7

What happens if I want to use more than two monitors?

Accepted Answer

This splitter is designed for dual-monitor setups only. If you need to connect three or more monitors, you would require a different type of HDMI distribution device that supports multiple outputs.

Question 8

Is this splitter good for HDR content?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the ROFAVEZCO HDMI Splitter supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) content. This means you can enjoy vibrant and detailed images on both monitors when watching movies or playing games with HDR support.

Question 9

Can I use this splitter to extend my display from one monitor to another?

Accepted Answer

While this splitter allows you to split the signal for two monitors, it does not provide an extended desktop setup. Instead, it duplicates the same image on both screens, which is useful for mirroring your content or using each screen as a separate display.

Question 10

What else comes in the box with this HDMI splitter?

Accepted Answer

The package includes one ROFAVEZCO HDMI Splitter and two HDMI cables. Ensure you have enough space to accommodate these components and that your monitors are compatible with the HDMI ports on the splitter.
