Question 1

Can this chair mat be used on both hardwood and tile floors?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the AS Office Chair Mat is designed to work well on both hardwood and tile floors. It provides a non-slip surface that helps protect your floor from scratches while also offering a smooth glide for your rolling chair.

Question 2

Is this chair mat suitable for gaming chairs as well?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, this chair mat can be used with any type of office or gaming chair with wheels. Its heavy-duty construction ensures it will withstand the weight and movement of even the most robust gaming chairs.

Question 3

What is the size of the chair mat?

Accepted Answer

The AS Office Chair Mat measures 76 x 122cm, which should be ample for most standard office or gaming chairs. This size provides a large area to roll your chair smoothly without worrying about edges.

Question 4

How does this compare to other chair mats in terms of durability?

Accepted Answer

This AS chair mat is known for its heavy-duty construction, making it more durable than many lighter options. The PVC plastic material ensures that the mat will last longer and provide better protection against wear and tear over time.

Question 5

What comes included with the chair mat?

Accepted Answer

The package includes one 76 x 122cm AS Office Chair Mat. No additional accessories are provided, so you may need to purchase a mat cutter if you want to trim it down to fit your specific desk dimensions.

Question 6

How easy is it to install this chair mat?

Accepted Answer

Installation is straightforward and typically involves unrolling the mat on your floor and positioning it correctly under your desk. The non-slip backing ensures stability, but some users may need to adjust the mat for perfect alignment with their chair's wheels.

Question 7

Can I use this chair mat if my desk has carpet underneath?

Accepted Answer

While the AS Office Chair Mat is designed for hard floors like hardwood and tile, it might not work as intended on carpeted surfaces. The non-slip backing could cause issues or prevent your chair from rolling smoothly. It’s best to check with the manufacturer before purchasing.

Question 8

How should I clean this chair mat?

Accepted Answer

Regular cleaning can help maintain the quality of your AS Office Chair Mat. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent mixed with water, then dry it thoroughly before using again. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the PVC surface.

Question 9

What is the non-slip backing made of?

Accepted Answer

The non-slip backing on this chair mat is designed to keep it securely in place without damaging your floor. It typically consists of a rubberized material that provides excellent traction, ensuring your chair rolls smoothly and doesn’t slip or slide unexpectedly.

Question 10

Is this chair mat suitable for use with office chairs only?

Accepted Answer

While the AS Office Chair Mat is ideal for both office and gaming chairs, it’s particularly well-suited for office environments. If you plan to use a heavier gaming chair, ensure that its weight does not compromise the non-slip backing or cause damage to your floor over time.
