Question 1

Are these headphones compatible with both iOS and Android devices?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Sony WH-CH720N is designed to work seamlessly with both iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth. This means you can connect them easily to your smartphone or tablet without needing any additional adapters.

Question 2

Can I use these headphones for gaming on PC?

Accepted Answer

While the headphones support Bluetooth connections, they do not have a 3.5mm audio jack, which is typically required for direct audio input from some gaming consoles and PCs. For optimal performance with PC gaming, consider checking if your system supports Bluetooth audio or using an adapter.

Question 3

How long does it take to charge these headphones?

Accepted Answer

The charging time for the Sony WH-CH720N is approximately 1.5 hours when fully depleted. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of playback, which can be extended with the included charging case that offers an additional 24 hours of battery life.

Question 4

Do these headphones have noise cancellation?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Sony WH-CH720N features active noise cancellation (ANC) technology. This helps block out ambient sounds, making your listening experience more immersive and focused, especially in noisy environments like public transport or busy cafes.

Question 5

Can I use these headphones with a desktop computer?

Accepted Answer

The headphones are compatible with most desktop computers via Bluetooth. However, if you need to connect them directly using an audio cable, ensure your computer has the necessary ports (like USB) for this purpose. Sony also offers a USB charging cable that can be used as an audio adapter.

Question 6

What comes in the box when I purchase these headphones?

Accepted Answer

When you buy the Sony WH-CH720N, you will receive the headphones themselves, a carrying case, a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter (for devices with 2.5mm audio ports), a USB charging cable, and an instruction manual.

Question 7

How do I set up these headphones for the first time?

Accepted Answer

To set up your Sony WH-CH720N, simply turn them on by pressing the power button until you hear a chime or feel a vibration. Then, pair them with your device using Bluetooth settings. The process is straightforward and usually takes just a few minutes.

Question 8

How do I adjust the ambient sound mode?

Accepted Answer

To use the ambient sound mode, press the dedicated button on the headphones twice in quick succession. This will toggle between noise cancellation and ambient sound modes. Ambient sound allows you to hear your surroundings while still enjoying music or videos.

Question 9

Are these headphones comfortable for long listening sessions?

Accepted Answer

The Sony WH-CH720N is designed with a lightweight, breathable earpad material that helps reduce fatigue during extended use. However, comfort can vary based on individual preferences and the length of time you wear them. For best results, ensure they fit snugly but comfortably.

Question 10

How do these headphones compare to other noise-cancelling headphones in terms of battery life?

Accepted Answer

Compared to many entry-level noise-cancelling headphones, the Sony WH-CH720N offers a competitive battery life with up to 35 hours when using both the headphones and charging case together. This long-lasting feature makes them suitable for frequent use without needing to recharge often.
