Is this the right pick for you?

This USB hub is perfect for gamers and VR enthusiasts who need a reliable way to connect multiple devices during extended sessions. If you're setting up an extensive full-body tracking system with Vive Trackers 3.0 or 2.0, this hub will ensure that all your trackers are connected seamlessly without any performance issues. It's also ideal for those using other VR peripherals like controllers or sensors, providing the necessary ports and power to support them effectively. In a typical setup, you might find yourself connecting not just Vive Trackers but also various gaming devices such as MacBooks, iMacs, or PCs. The smart charging port can be particularly useful when you need to charge your phone or other gadgets during extended VR sessions without interrupting your gameplay. However, this hub isn't the best fit for users with extremely complex setups that require more than seven ports or those who prefer a wireless solution. Before purchasing, it's important to note that while the cable length is sufficient for most setups (31.5 inches), you might still need some flexibility in positioning your devices. The compact design ensures it won't take up too much space on your desk but may not be as versatile as a shorter cable if you have limited workspace. Additionally, make sure to check that all your VR trackers and other peripherals are compatible with USB 3.0 before making the purchase.
