Is this the right pick for you?

This ASUS RT-AX86U Pro is a top choice for gamers who demand the best in terms of speed and reliability. It's particularly suited for those with multiple devices or large households needing robust Wi-Fi coverage. With its dual-band WiFi 6 technology, it can handle up to 5700 Mbps, ensuring that your gaming sessions are smooth and lag-free. The 2.5G port provides an additional layer of speed for wired connections, making it ideal for high-bandwidth applications like streaming or downloading large files. However, this router might not be the best fit if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option or one with subscription-based security features. While it offers subscription-free network security and supports advanced features like port forwarding and mobile game mode, these benefits come at a higher price point compared to some alternatives in the market. If you prioritize ease of setup and don't require extensive security measures beyond what's built-in, there are more affordable options available. Setting up the ASUS RT-AX86U Pro is relatively straightforward, but it does require some technical knowledge. The AiMesh compatibility allows for easy expansion with additional routers to cover larger areas, which can be a significant advantage in multi-story homes or large spaces. Care should also be taken when configuring advanced settings like port forwarding and mobile game mode to ensure they are set up correctly for optimal performance without compromising security.
