Is this the right pick for you?

This ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98 is a top-tier gaming router designed for those who demand the best in terms of speed and reliability. It's ideal for gamers with multiple devices, especially when they're spread across large spaces or need to connect high-bandwidth applications like streaming 4K content or playing online games without lag. Its robust setup includes dual 10Gbps Ethernet ports and four 2.5Gbps ports, making it perfect for setups that require fast data transfer between multiple devices. However, this router may not be the best fit for smaller households with fewer devices or those on a tight budget. The high price point of £499 reflects its advanced features but might seem excessive if you don't need such extensive networking capabilities. For gamers who are serious about optimizing their home network and want to future-proof their setup, this router is an excellent choice. Setting up the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98 involves a few steps but is generally straightforward for tech-savvy users. It comes with a user-friendly app that allows you to configure settings from your smartphone or tablet. Ensure all devices are compatible with the latest WiFi standards, as this router supports 4K-QAM and Wi-Fi 7 protocols. Regularly check firmware updates to keep your network secure and performant.
