Question 2

Can I use this monitor with my current setup?

Accepted Answer

This monitor should work with most modern computers that support HDMI 1.4b or have a compatible video output port. However, check your computer's specifications to ensure compatibility, especially regarding the refresh rate and resolution settings.

Question 3

How does it compare to other gaming monitors in terms of performance?

Accepted Answer

Compared to other mid-range gaming monitors, this MSI model offers excellent performance with its 144Hz refresh rate and VA panel. It provides good color accuracy and viewing angles, making it a solid choice for competitive gaming without breaking the bank.

Question 4

What is included in the box?

Accepted Answer

The monitor comes packaged as one unit. You will receive the MSI PRO MP225 E12VL 22-inch FHD monitor itself along with an HDMI cable and a VESA mount kit. Additional accessories like speakers or stand may vary, so it's best to check the manufacturer’s listing for exact contents.

Question 5

How does the Adaptive-Sync feature work?

Accepted Answer

The Adaptive-Sync technology ensures that the screen refreshes at the same rate as your graphics card output, eliminating screen tearing and stuttering. This is particularly beneficial in fast-paced games where maintaining a consistent frame rate is crucial for smooth gameplay.

Question 6

Can I adjust the monitor's tilt?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this monitor features a tilt adjustment function that allows you to change its angle up or down. This can be useful for finding your optimal viewing position and reducing eye strain during long gaming sessions.

Question 7

How does the Eye care feature benefit me?

Accepted Answer

The Eye care feature helps reduce eye strain by providing a more comfortable viewing experience, especially when using the monitor for extended periods. It includes features like flicker-free technology to minimize screen flicker and blue light reduction to lower the amount of potentially harmful blue light emitted.

Question 8

What is the resolution of this monitor?

Accepted Answer

The MSI PRO MP225 E12VL has a 1920x1080 (FHD) resolution, which provides clear and detailed visuals suitable for most gaming needs. While not as high as UHD resolutions, FHD ensures good clarity without the need for excessive power consumption.

Question 9

Is this monitor compatible with my existing setup?

Accepted Answer

To determine compatibility, check your computer’s video output port type (HDMI 1.4b in this case) and ensure it can handle a 144Hz refresh rate if necessary. If you have an older system, consider checking the manufacturer's listing for supported ports or potential upgrades.

Question 10

How does the VESA mount work?

Accepted Answer

The VESA mount allows you to attach the monitor to a wall or stand with mounting hardware that adheres to the VESA standard. This provides flexibility in positioning your monitor and can be useful if you want to save desk space or have limited desk real estate, especially for multi-monitor setups.
