Is this the right pick for you?

This ASUS RT-AXE7800 Tri-band WiFi 6E Extendable Router is ideal for high-performance gaming setups and households with multiple users needing fast internet access. Its tri-band design supports simultaneous connections on the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands, ensuring that both your gaming console and other devices can maintain stable and high-speed connections without interference from each other. The 2.5G Ethernet port is perfect for connecting to a wired network, providing faster data transfer rates compared to traditional Gigabit ports. However, this router might not be the best choice if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option or if your primary needs are basic internet connectivity and occasional device usage. It's designed with advanced features like Instant Guard for quick setup, Advanced Parental Control for managing network access, and a built-in VPN to enhance privacy and security. The AiMesh compatibility allows for seamless integration with other ASUS routers in the same network, expanding coverage and improving overall performance. Before purchasing, it’s important to ensure that your current network infrastructure can support such an advanced router. Proper setup requires some technical knowledge or assistance from a professional if you’re not comfortable setting up complex networking equipment. Additionally, while the built-in security features are subscription-free, they might need regular updates for optimal protection against new threats.
