Question 1

What type of computer is this SSD compatible with?

Accepted Answer

This Ediloca EN1400 Pro SSD is designed for use in modern desktops and laptops that support NVMe PCIe 5.0x4 M.2 slots. Ensure your system's motherboard supports the required interface before purchasing.

Question 2

How does this SSD perform compared to other gaming SSDs?

Accepted Answer

With read speeds up to 14,000MB/s and write speeds of 10,000MB/s, the Ediloca EN1400 Pro offers some of the fastest performance in its class. This makes it ideal for high-performance applications like gaming and video editing where quick load times are crucial.

Question 3

What is included in the box?

Accepted Answer

The package typically includes the 2TB SSD itself, an M.2 to SATA adapter (if needed), a heatsink, and installation instructions. Check the manufacturer's listing for exact contents as they may vary.

Question 4

Does this SSD require any special care or setup?

Accepted Answer

No special care is required; however, ensure proper installation in your system’s M.2 slot using appropriate tools to avoid damaging the drive. The included heatsink helps manage temperatures during high-performance use but is not always necessary if your system has adequate cooling.

Question 5

Can I use this SSD with my existing computer?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as your computer supports NVMe PCIe 5.0x4 M.2 slots and you have the appropriate adapter for your motherboard’s interface (if needed). Check your computer's specifications to confirm compatibility.

Question 6

How does Dynamic SLC Cache improve performance?

Accepted Answer

The Dynamic SLC Cache technology enhances write speeds by temporarily using a portion of the SSD as a faster cache layer, which improves overall performance during high-write operations like gaming and video editing. This feature is particularly beneficial for tasks that generate large amounts of data quickly.

Question 7

What is the difference between 3D TLC and other types of NAND flash?

Accepted Answer

3D TLC (Triple-Level Cell) NAND flash stores three bits per cell, offering higher storage density compared to QLC (Quad-Level Cell). This SSD uses 3D TLC technology, which provides a good balance between cost and performance for demanding applications.

Question 8

Is this SSD suitable for professional video editing?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The high read/write speeds of the Ediloca EN1400 Pro make it an excellent choice for professionals in video editing who need quick access to large files and frequent saves, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient project management.

Question 9

How does this SSD fit into a typical gaming PC setup?

Accepted Answer

This SSD can be installed as your system's primary storage drive or as a secondary drive for additional game libraries. Its high performance makes it ideal for booting the operating system and running games at their best, while also being useful for storing large files like video projects.

Question 10

What are the benefits of having 2GB LPDDR4 DRAM on this SSD?

Accepted Answer

The integrated 2GB LPDDR4 DRAM acts as a buffer to improve performance by handling data more efficiently. This feature can reduce latency and enhance overall speed, especially during heavy multitasking or when transferring large files between applications.
