Is this the right pick for you?

This TP-Link Archer BE900 is a top-tier gaming router designed for high-performance environments where speed and reliability are non-negotiable. Ideal for gamers with multiple devices or those who frequently stream 4K content, this router ensures that every device in your home network operates at peak performance. The quad-band Wi-Fi 7 technology supports up to 24.4 Gbps speeds on the latest 6GHz band, providing exceptional bandwidth and congestion-free channels. This makes it perfect for high-bandwidth activities like online gaming, streaming, and downloading large files without compromising on speed or quality. While this router is a powerhouse in terms of performance, it might not be necessary for smaller households with fewer devices. For those who already have a robust network setup, the additional features may not provide significant benefits. The dual 10 Gbps Multi-Gig Ethernet ports and 12 high-performance antennas ensure a stable and fast connection across your home or office, but they come at a premium price of £606.99. Before making this investment, consider whether you need such advanced features or if a more affordable router would suffice. Setting up the TP-Link Archer BE900 is relatively straightforward, thanks to its user-friendly interface and LED touch screen display. However, it does require some technical knowledge to fully optimize its settings for maximum performance. The router supports Virtual Private Network (VPN) functionality, which can be useful for securing your online activities or accessing content that’s region-locked. Ensure you have the necessary cables and power supply before installation, as the dual 10 Gbps ports will need specific Ethernet connections. Regular maintenance, such as firmware updates and cleaning dust from the antennas, is recommended to keep the router running at its best.
