Happy Holidays from the Oxymoron Games Team!
Hi everybody, It's hard to believe the end of the year is upon us once again! So, let us take the opportunity to wish you all Happy Holidays and relaxing times with your loved ones! Looking back at 2025 - what has the Oxymoron team been up to? Well, there was no time to take the foot off the gas yet as we've been pushing hard to complete the promised Early Access updates of Heroes of Science and Fiction and get us close to its full release (which is now not too far away). We've added two new playable factions, two campaigns, the map editor, a lot of content and features and even managed to successfully go through the terrifying process of renaming a game. Thanks to everybody who helped with testing and also to everybody who purchased either of our games during the year or has written a review! On the outside it looks like the whole game development industry is in a state of turmoil, but we are still in a pretty good spot thanks to all of you! 🙂 Now, it's time for us to take some deserved time off after a very demanding season, so most of the team will be out of town until January 4th. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to ask our amazing community here on the Steam forum, otherwise we should be able to get back to you at the beginning of January. Also, there's a new Project Hospital patch ready for testing on a beta branch (more info), so please leave us a note on the Steam forum if you try it out and encounter anything out of the ordinary - we'll give it a proper look before the patch goes live. Thanks! So, enjoy the Winter Sale and then Happy Holidays and see you in the New Year! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43007216/c40465873da33d6549af8ff0e43ed2ef083a68e6.pngRead full article on Community Announcements (Oxymoron Games)Patch NotesOfficial
Would you like to help us test the next update?
Hi everybody, We have a small update of Project Hospital ready for a quick round of beta testing before it gets released to the whole player base. While the team has been busy working on Heroes of Science and Fiction as we're now very close to the full release of our second game, we keep fixing game-breaking bugs in Project Hospital that get still reported every now and then (and there was also the Unity security vulnerability that needed patching too - luckily, there have been no reports of it being exploited so far). As usually, we have put the new patch on a beta branch first, so, if you'd like to help us with the last round of testing especially to check different kinds of hardware and setups, you can switch to beta-patch-43-test under Betas in the game's Properties in your Steam library. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32869311/a77a58dfcb976e0035fd7cfba9a6167271e53a1c.png The release notes are listed below as always: Project Hospital 1.2.23726 - Patch 43 Fixes and changes Applied Unity's patch for the recently discovered security vulnerability to the Windows build Fixed game load on Mac could get broken by the presence of hidden system "AppleDouble" files Fixed a case of taken over patients going to a specialist examination stuck in a loop in the waiting room Allowed patients that need a Boston brace to be sent for their treatment from ICU to Orthopaedy Minor text fixes And if you'd like to have a quick look at HoSaF too, here's a link - it's now almost complete and available in Early Access. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2147380/Heroes_of_Science_and_Fiction/Read full article on Community Announcements (Oxymoron Games)Patch NotesOfficial
