About this game
About Midnight Horde:
Midnight Horde is a gothic horror action rogue-lite that flips the traditional bullet hell formula with intense, vertical parkour mechanics. Set in a medieval European city during the early 1900, you’ll scale towering castles, leap across rooftops, and dive into the fray against hordes of twisted enemies. With every attempt, grow stronger, unlock new abilities, and push back against the darkness that threatens to consume everything. The Midnight Horde is relentless, but you’ll adapt, overcome, and survive.
Reverse Bullet Hell, with Gravity and Parkour!
Prepare for a whole new bullet hell experience where movement is just as important as any sword or spell. Midnight Horde reimagines bullet hell with dynamic, gravity-defying parkour, letting you dart through waves of enemies. Utilize mechanics like dashing, wall-climbing, and rooftop-jumping to maneuver through overwhelming odds.

Demo Patch Notes 0.4.1.8
Hi, it has been a while! I have been busy working on the larger scope of the game, but I’m now paying attention to the demo again! New featuresAdded gunslinger as a playable class, he can slide aroundAdded three sets of difficulties per level, you get more resources the higher difficulty, but you need to unlock them. I have not properly balanced the final difficulty yet and interesting to see how hard it feels.Changed UX and path to start playing the game in the UI to make it faster to get into the game, let me know if this feels better or if it is confusing.New weaponsFlames RighteousnessGod TearsSpear of GodStakes Bug FixesA lot of bug fixes Some of these patch notes have been in the demo for a month or so but I have not had time to write the patch notes but I thought they are worth mentioning. Also I am curious at what people would want to see in the design of the game or abilities to create more depth and fun. Open to suggestions. And interested to hear what you think about the new changes and additions! Kind Regards PerRead full article on Community Announcements (Per the Cheese Wizard)AnnouncementsOfficial
Delayed launch for Midnight Horde
Greetings fellow parkour banshees!I should have made this post a few months ago, but I got sucked into making new cool stuff for the game! The game is being delayed from the previous date.Mainly due to me wanting to keep iterating on the version of the game before I release it into your handsI am now aiming for sometime after the summer.I'm also playing with the idea of letting this be an Early Access game, let me know what you think about that. The reason would be that it would let me spend more time with the game and developing with a better feedback loop.I do think I could release a full version as well, but I think the iterative approach would be good for me and the game. Also some other news, I have added a ton of cool weapons and features! Some are even in the demo right now. I am showing the game in Kyoto Bit Summit this week!!I intend to make a few posts in the future highlighting new stuff I have been working on.Also, Splattercat played MH and made a video about it!!! I am a big fan of his and he is the most genuine indie game youtuber out there. Some of his feedback was spot on and is also an additional reason for me wanting to delay the launch a bit more.Kind regardsPerRead full article on Community Announcements (Superintendent Pemr)AnnouncementsOfficial
