About this game

Insula: Bounty Royale is the first-ever arena shooter to give the player complete control over how they choose to engage their opponents. This provides a unique twist on the familiar game genre, battle royale. When a new match starts, each contestant has a bounty on their head. Outfitting yourself with advanced technology, you must hunt other players and eliminate them to collect their bounties. With each foe you eliminate, your own bounty will increase, making you a more desirable target for everyone else!

Custom-Built Your Way

Customize your anthropomorphic robot, a.k.a. Anthrobot, with a vast array of unique-looking armor. Build them big and beefy or light and nimble; every design choice is up to you! And of course, no look is complete without totally custom paint jobs, logos, and programmable battle taunts!

Player Bounties

You're not just fighting for bragging rights. Bounties are the heart and soul of Insula: Bounty Royale. Each opponent you face has a bounty on their head; collecting those bounties means creds in your pocket which you can use to upgrade your Anthrobot! Be mindful of your notoriety, though; the more you take, the more you're worth.

High-Octane Aerial Combat

Fight in 100% of your environment. You’re not limited to where you can reach on foot. Each Anthrobot is outfitted with a fully customizable flight rig. High-speed aerial maneuvers allow you to take full advantage of the arena's massive vertical play space. Play the ground game, or take to the skies; this is dog-fighting at its best!

Free to Play

Insula: Bounty Royale is completely free to play. Anything that is made available in the store can be earned by playing the game. This includes your Bounty Pass, which leads to more unlocks and amazing loot.

    Pre-Alpha v0.0.25 Update

Bug Fixes from pre-alpha testing and mid-air collision New Features: Added check for available room when attempting to exit the crouched state, character should not stand up if does not have room to do so without clipping into something Infinite flight energy bug should was fixed Spawning outside the dome during drop-in on the Nesis-Red map was fixed Issue with score tracking objects beign created before players steam name was available, resulting in no scores being shown in leaderboard list has been fixed (did not have time to test this one so meh... :D) Issue with game shutting down after 5 minutes of running arenas offline for testing should be fixed New Features: Added first iteration of mid-flight collision damage. NOTE: This is the mid-flight collision / impact damage, NOT fall damage. Fall damage has not been implemented yet. Any collision that occurs during fast flight mode which is significant enough to force you back into hover mode, should now deal damage based on the velocity of movement at time of impact. This damage goes BOTH ways if you collide into another player!!! ie both of you will be damaged from the impact. Damage to other players is AoE based, tiny AoE but still AoE, if you are really good, it is technically possible to slam yourself into a group of others who are bunched up (for whatever reason) and Jenkins the whole lot of them. (yourself included!) This also means that chasing someone through tight or twisting areas has now become a dangerous prospect if you are not all good and comfy with the flight controls. You have been warned!
