Overview

Bounty Battle is the ultimate indie fighting game: a new 2D fighter, where you can pit your favourite indie heroes against one another! Indie heroes from games like Guacamelee! and Darkest Dungeon, to Dead Cells, Owlboy & more battle it out in this fighter frenzy. Bounty Battle features 20+ characters, each with their own Minion companion and unique abilities. Battle across levels inspired from the characters' own game worlds with up to 3 other players.


Features

• A host of game modes including a Tournament, Versus, Challenge Mode, Tutorial and Training Room to perfect your style
  
• 30 characters from your favourite Indie titles each with their own move set and special attacks
  
• Each fighter has their very own minion to summon and join the fight
  
• 16 different arenas to battle on – some plucked from the worlds of their fighters
  
• Multiple colour and palette swap options to fight in style!

The Story

A supernatural event of unknown origin caused huge vortexes to form across the multiverse. It selected the greatest warriors from each world, and bestowed upon them magical powers.
Each world has its eye on the prize, fighting for ultimate control over the multiverse… with their own respective champions – who also happen to have a bounty placed on their head! Now is the time to decide who will control the Universe. All worlds collide in this final confrontation to determine the fate of the Universe.

  New Patches and Improvements

  Hello everyone! In there ongoing commitment to the game and community Dark Screen games have been working super hard. Listening to player feedback and acting upon it they have produced the following changes off of the back of your helpful feedback. This update includes: - Glitch transition effect has been lowered or removed from sections of the game - The pause menu is now accessible in the tutorial - Re-spawn wait time has been lowered to 2 sec - Aerial recovery has been implemented with teleportation usable after grab - Further AI Balancing - Additional changes to slow motion effects We hope these additions imprve your Bounty Battle experience and we look forward to updating you further.   Bounty Battle Improvements - Now Live on Steam!

Their dedication to the game and the community that has supported them has ensured that they are working tirelessly to make more fixes and updates. Thanks to the community's constructive advice, we're pleased to bring you some fixes and improvements for the Steam version. Here is a full list of fixes: AI balancing throughout the game Difficulty balancing on Challenge/tournament modes. Reduced Slow motion effect upon character death Menu fixes surrounding incorrect Keyboard prompts J and ESC Tutorial fixes surround incorrect keyboard inputs C to P Animation bugs fixed on The Penitent One Look out for the platform Icon in new platform levels. Added platforms to Tower arena Added platforms to Ruins arena Added platforms to Tetrobot arena Added platforms to Hermetic arena Added platforms to Awesomnauts arena Added platforms to Oddmar arena They're also working on console fixes that will be coming in the future. This battle went right down to the wire with The Penitent grabbing a nail biting victory with 50.7% of your votes.
