About the Game

Raccoo Venture is a fun 3D platformer that brings the nostalgia from 1990s in a playful and puzzle-filled world.
Defeat multiple enemies and challenges, find new outfits to customize the hero, discover new friends who will help you on this journey to recover the holy relics.

Discover your true destiny through a journey full of magic and secrets. Save Verta's Harmony and prevent chaos from returning to the land. But be careful! Many puzzles and enemies will cross your path.

Everything is balance

In the beginning, the world was made of chaos. Creatures born from nature's disturb dominated the whole land of Verta and fed of disorder.
Then came the Guardians, who united their powers and created a sacred relic, so powerful that it was able to contain the unpredictable forces of chaos, bringing balance to the world. The creatures were contained, Verta became fertile and all animals could live in harmony.

This relic was made by equal fractions of goodness and wickedness, and to not fall into the evil hands, the Guardians divided it into small pieces and hid it in the middle of the forest. From this day on we have never heard about the Guardians again and they have become a legend.

Years later, creatures known as Tattooed Tatus have found the relic and the balance of the world now is in great danger.

Only the sole heir from the power of the Guardians is able to prevent that from happening.

Magical items

An ancestral tribe, named Visgo Vesgo, spread many of its magical items throughout Verta. They say that some of them are so hidden that it would take centuries to be found. Little is known about the reasons for being there and their true powers.

  Some Quality of Life improvements

  Hello everybody! I've been folowing players feedback and making some balancing and improvements to the game. In addition to some balancing I've made to enemies AI, timing puzzles, etc., I decided to go further and add a new feature that will help players with the platforming thing. Now you can use a Jump Assistance, pretty similar to that one we see in the Crash series. It will be enabled by default, but you can enable/disable it at any time through the options menu. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34108236/64367ea546cd0fa58feb9117b06ad4a3511d709d.gif I've also made a huge improvement to some 2D sections of the game, which will bring a real side-scrolling feel to some areas. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34108236/9af18a2cc4e4886a7e24aeb3dec891968f7cba1d.gif Others changes I made: •Checkpoints will respawn with a minimum of 3 lives. •Pru's stamina is a bit longer now. •Swimming speed is a bit faster. •Some more bugs fixes.   Hello everybody! The world of Verta is now complete, with all the bosses and 140+ collectibles for you to find. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34108236/80720b3edd35f68d1f37551b4a484b9ca6abdb43.gif There is also a large amount of optimizations and bug fixes, thanks to all the feedback I received from players during the Early Access period. I would like to thank you for all the time you spent playing and sending your suggestions and opinions.   Final Release

  After a long hiatus here, I'm back to share the big and long-awaited news: Raccoo Venture has a release date! That's it! Now you will be able to explore the world of Verta, find 140+ collectibles, solve puzzles and battle bosses, in its complete version. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34108236/0b211c01c2c7e34a3d7335e92bfc181a8bab7f40.jpg I can't thank all the players who participated in the Early Access version and provided their feedback enough. Thanks to you, Raccoo Venture has become a much better, more fun and more polished game than its initial version. From gameplay improvements, performance to sound and visual effects.
