An all-round bouncy adventure! If you love roguelikes & Peggle, then Roundguard is for you.

Castle Springbottom is under attack and it’s up to the Roundguard to save the king and -- more importantly -- recover his gold! Fling your hero into the face of danger and bounce off hordes of dangerously cute monsters to reach the bottom of the dungeon. You only have one life, so you’ll need to learn how to navigate the dungeon’s hazards, master your hero’s skills, and make strategic choices if you hope to defeat the final boss. But don’t worry, the Roundguard always bounces back!

• Bouncy Fun: Intuitive pinball physics based gameplay like no other dungeon crawler.
  
• Multiple Classes: Play as the Warrior, the Rogue, the Wizard, or the Druid each with their own unique skills, items, and cheeky sense of humor.
  
• Randomized Dungeon: Each time you play, the world map and every level are procedurally generated, and quest events and elite monsters are randomly placed. It’s a new experience every time.
  
• Permadeath with Benefits: Each time you die, you’ll have a chance to bring a special trinket with you on your next run to help even the odds. The more gold you grab before dying, the better your chances to collect one of the most powerful trinkets for your next run.
  
• A Cast of Oddballs: Chat with the castle’s colorful cast to pick up quests and learn why some rats want their king dead, what’s irritating the local teenage skeleton today, or what the Warrior will do if you can’t get to a bathroom quickly enough.
  
• Lots of Loot: Over 200 items and trinkets, each with effects that present strategic choices and combo possibilities. Rare and legendary items have randomly chosen bonus properties, so each one feels special.
  
• Show Off Your Skills: Compete on the leaderboards and try to master all the challenging, rule-bending relics. Test yourself in the daily and weekly challenges to earn new rewards and bragging rights. Earn all the Encore roses in an escalating series of difficulty ranks for each hero.

  Stay Frosty Wintertime Event

  Do you feel that chill in the air? A storm is on its way! From December 20th to January 2nd, Roundguard is celebrating the wintertime with a special event! The dungeon is blanketed in a fresh coat of snow, the jingliest jingle bells are here to welcome you, and the dungeon denizens are dressed for the weather. You know what that means... Pom pom hats! Put on your fuzzy slippers and try your hand at two weeks of unique daily challenges with winter rules. Look out for snowballs snowballing and icy winds blowing through every day. Hungry for more?We released the demo for our next game, Arcane Eats, just last month and it's full of delicious deckbuilder combos and our signature cheeky vibes. Please give it a taste!   Halloween Tricks & Treats!

  Hey friends,Happy spooky season! To celebrate, the Halloween Tricks & Treats event is live right now in Roundguard! Go put on your costume, smash some pumpkins, and crush some spooky themed daily events for the next week in honor of the Great Pumpkin, the roundest gourd of all. Roundguard will be on deep discount on Steam and mobile throughout the event, so it’s the perfect time to tell a friend or pick up a copy to keep in your pocket. But you need more to do this weekend? Check out the Roguelike Celebration! It’s one of the coolest, weirdest, nerdiest, funniest roguelike-themed events I’ve ever been to. I won’t be doing a talk there this year, but many other very clever folks will be. We’ve got Arcane Eats in their Steam sale event, along with a ton of other great roguelikes and roguelike-likes to pick up and wishlist. Give you more, you say?   Introducing our next game: Arcane Eats

  After years of updates and support for Roundguard, we’re very excited to finally announce our next game, Arcane Eats! It’s a roguelike deckbuilder with a delicious twist – build a cuisine-themed deck of cards, cook up combos on magical cooktops, and serve fantastical meals to hordes of hungry monsters. It’s crisp and crunchy card play tossed in roguelike spices with a heaping side of culinary puns. I’m a big foodie and I love games about cooking, but I’ve always felt like there’s something missing. Most cooking games focus on following recipes and speedy execution. Cooking can be about that for sure, but the kind of cooking I love most happens when you let go of following a recipe – when you improvise with the ingredients you have at hand, when you experiment to find new taste combos, when you try to understand the underlying mechanics so you can make your prep work even more efficient or your dish even more delicious. Cooking like that is exciting, it’s clever, and it’s risky – sometimes you fail! And also, it sounds a lot like a roguelike, doesn’t it? Stir that together with my everlasting love of nerdy card games, and you’ve got the flavorful foundation that came together to make Arcane Eats. I can get into the weeds talking about cooking – it’s dear to my belly – and from soup to nuts, this game is thoroughly infused with cooking themes. But make no mistake, Arcane Eats is a deep and strategic deckbuilder at its heart. We’ve drawn inspiration from some of our favorites, like Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone, so if you like the taste of those games, you’ll find plenty here to sink your teeth into. We’ve been simmering in secrecy for more than a year waiting to tell you all about Arcane Eats, and I’m so excited we finally get to share!
