About this game

Doctor Flow is a puzzle game of deduction and decision making. You assume the role of a doctor who decides which tests are performed on patients and in what order. Through its stylized interaction you are not only responsible for cost effective medical diagnoses, but also affect patient satisfaction and the quality of health care. Multiple solutions are possible, but only one is the most cost effective. Choose wisely!

• Play 40 challenging scenarios for hours of puzzle fun
• Complete all 20 Steam achievements
• Get the highest score and compete against other players in the online leaderboards
• Developed in collaboration with medical specialists, educational experts and doctors in training
• Choose from 3 themes: doctor, koi or alien
• Feel like a doctor (well, sort of…)

Doctor Flow started out as a game for actual doctors to train their decision making. The process of taking tests and taking them in the right order makes for deep gameplay, and the immediate response was so positive that we made an extended version, with extra levels, music, visual themes, updated control scheme and polish throughout the game.

Doctor Flow was designed as part of a project to raise awareness of the cost associated with healthcare. For doctors in training the focus on the importance of conscious decision making is paramount. Not only for the costs, but also the patient's satisfaction. After research, the process of performing tests on patients and linking symptoms to diseases, stood out as the subject to base a game on. Being smart and conscious about choosing tests lowers costs and leads to higher patient satisfaction. Additionally, choosing the right strategy also gives an immediate sense of accomplishment. That's how Doctor Flow became a game about deduction, decisions and efficiency, one that clicked very well with its target audience, and one we like to offer players the world over.

    First update now available!

The first update to Doctor Flow is now available to play! With this update we tried to address the feedback we’ve received and improve the game in general. You can find a complete list of all the changes below. Happy diagnosing! Gameplay Added tooltips to further explain gameplay, tooltips can be turned off in the settings menu. Added an indicator that shows how many patients have a certain disease. Increased patient count in all scenarios to make the limited accuracy tests fairer. As a result, rebalanced all the scenario score requirements. Note that this resets the highscores, but your achieved star ratings won’t be changed. Reworked tests that have a limited accuracy to perform with an accuracy closer to what is listed, even for lower amounts of patients. Rebalanced disease distribution in scenarios where it was unintuitive. Interface The last unfinished scenario is now automatically selected when opening the scenario select screen. Changed the default zoom level to be more zoomed out. Scaled down UI and menu size to better match bigger screens. General UI and menu improvements. Other Prevented the game from minimizing when it loses focus. Added an option to limit the game’s framerate in the settings.

    Doctor Flow released!

3..2..1.. And we're live! Grab Doctor Flow while it's hot. We're very happy to release the game on Steam. Let me explain why it's a special moment for us. Doctor Flow started out as a game for actual doctors to train their decision making. The immediate response was so positive that we made an extended version, with extra levels, music, visual themes, updated control scheme and polish throughout the game. The game was originally designed as part of a project to raise awareness of the cost associated with healthcare. This is the first time that we release a serious game on Steam and we´re really curious about the reaction of players that don´t have this training purpose as primary reason to play the game. So play the game and let us know what you think in the community hub or with a review! Disclaimer: Playing this game will not make you a qualified Doctor ;)
