About this game
An unsettling encounter with a former colleague at a prison colony in the Altair sector leads Gail Pilgrim and the crew of the starship Quicksilver on an investigative mission to Union Station - otherwise known as 'The Cattle Market.' What she finds there is deeply troubling and may have serious repercussions for the future of the fledgling Galactic Union.
Back at the Pilgrim Space Academy, Maggie is beginning to feel calm and secure in her surroundings following the traumatic events of the previous year. That is, until a strange phenomenon suggests that there may be more to one of her new friends than meets the eye.
Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 2 is a continuation of the story which began with The Space Pilgrim Saga and Space Pilgrim Academy: Year 1. In this brand new space adventure, you will continue to play as both Gail Pilgrim and Margaret Dale.

- As Gail Pilgrim, take on the roles of investigator and diplomat as she attempts to uncover evidence of corruption. Revisit some familiar locations, such as Union Station and the aero-cities of Venus.
- As Margaret Dale, take part in some new classes at the academy, including astrophysics, politics and radar/communications operation, and experience the holo deck for the first time. Outside of her academic life she will face unprecedented challenges when she makes some profoundly disturbing discoveries.
- Continue to relive the days of good old fashioned point-and-click adventure games.

Version 2.0
The Year 1 update last week seems to have been well received, so here is the Year 2 update! Thanks for all the positive comments so far. Again, please note that since this update overhauls many of the game's maps, it may have incompatibility issues with some existing save files. This is more likely to happen with smaller interior maps. If this affects you, then you can roll back to the previous version by right-clicking on the game in your Steam library and then clicking Properties. From the "Betas" tab, select "previous - Version 1.1". Here are the changes: Dozens of new character faces and expressions, for major and minor characters alike! A new interface featuring graphics for the various interactions with the environment! Look at it! Take it! Use it! Talk to it! An interactive map for when you're moving around the academy, which changes and develops as certain events take place in the story! Larger graphics! Some players had complained that the characters and objects in the environment were too small, so the size of the character sprites and tiles have been increased by 50%. Lots of little fixes and improvements! The stars now move when you're on a traveling spaceship. When you save your game, it will now show what stage of the story you were at. There's also an exit button on the title screen - especially useful for those who prefer playing in full-screen mode. There's also a fix for a rare graphics rendering bug in the engine which could cause random freezes. Let me know if you encounter any problems with this update.
