In Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice you are the 'one-armed wolf', a disgraced and disfigured warrior rescued from the brink of death. Bound to protect a young lord who is the descendant of an ancient bloodline, you become the target of many vicious enemies, including the dangerous Ashina clan. When the young lord is captured, nothing will stop you on a perilous quest to regain your honor, not even death itself.
Explore late 1500s Sengoku Japan, a brutal period of constant life and death conflict, as you come face to face with larger than life foes in a dark and twisted world. Unleash an arsenal of deadly prosthetic tools and powerful ninja abilities while you blend stealth, vertical traversal, and visceral head to head combat in a bloody confrontation.

Data sleuth discovers that Sekiro's inexplicable, skyscraper-sized rope man who gives you a lift to Heaven might have once been a boss fight or level unto itself
Longtime FromSoftware dataminer Zullie the Witch has uploaded a new video that interrogates one of the studio's most memorably strange non sequiturs: The giant guy made of rope who carries you from the kingdom of Ashina to the celestial Fountainhead Palace. It seems like there was once much more to Mr. Rope-a-Dope than we saw in the final game... Read more.Read full article on PC Gamer (Ted Litchfield)Press Coverage
Sekiro player beats hardest boss 328 days in a row to demand more content

The first time I came up against Ornstein and Smough I was absolutely demolished, but it was my perseverance and willingness to try new strategies that eventually helped me beat them. This tenacity is no less required in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but what if you decided to stay on one boss forever? Well, that's exactly what this player has been doing for almost a year, as they document their experience while waiting for FromSoftware to bring more of the game into their life.
