New Level, new Weapons and real Danger awaits
Hi ,Some time ago I said it would be really difficult for me to keep working on the game. It’s been a very hard time for me , I lost my companion and best friend. As a very lonely person, that hit me hard, really hard.I’m not okay, but I have to keep going. I can’t let myself become a paralyzed piece of garbage. Teji wouldn’t want that , she never liked things broken or out of shape, and I’m sure she wouldn’t want me to be either. I can’t let the dark drag me down.Working on the game helped keep my mind busy, and in some way, it helped me a bit. So I worked on a few things:– Shotgun: a new weapon, necessary for what’s coming. – New level – Suburbs: an entirely new area. – New zombie mechanics: subtle behavior changes that add more tension and spookiness to the atmosphere. – Some bugs fixed. – Some new bugs added.If you liked the game, please share it with your friends — that helps me a lot.Im also gonna release the game as complete. Teji, my beloved Dachshund passed away.
HiI just want to let you, the people who have bought this game and supported me, know that I’m afraid I cannot continue working. My beautiful Dachshund, Teji, who was 13 years and 7 months old, passed away three weeks ago. I didn’t have her for very long, we were together for her last 3 years and 2 months , and I really feel it wasn’t enough time. I loved her so much. She was my constant companion during all this time, always by my side while I worked in isolation on this game. Honestly, I think I could have given her more time if I hadn’t been so focused on working, and I’m filled with regrets… so many “if only” thoughts. I’m in so much pain right now that I can’t even look at her photos. I love her deeply, and I miss her beyond words.She was my companion, my emotional support, my angel. I have been a very lonely person all my life, and she showed me what love truly is. With her, I never felt alone. Now everything feels empty. I’m also upset because of all the neglect she endured earlier in her life , her former owners had her for so many years and only made her suffer, letting her heart get sick. It’s so unfair that we only had 3 years together. I tried to make those years the best of her life: peaceful, happy, surrounded by love, with no more separation anxiety, no more loneliness , only kind words, cuddles, and peace. I miss you, Teji. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you. Huge Rework on the Game (26 May 2025)
Hi everyone, and thank you for playing the Early Access of Hordes of the Dead (previously called Dead Mist). As you can see, I’ve rebuilt the entire experience — world, camera, perspective, character controller, bite animations, weapons, levels, and atmosphere. The zombies now have a new gore system, improved AI, new animations, and fresh ways to surround you and kill you. I hope you’ve enjoyed it so far.
