Explore a hauntingly beautiful garden where every step could be your last. In Garden of Oblivion, help the troubled teenager Reven uncover the truth behind his endless nightmare, all while navigating Träumendes Mädchen's atmospheric point & click puzzles.

About this game

One day Reven awakens in a strange but beautiful place where the young teenager is treated like a very special guest. There are talking animals, each being rather kind and friendly. Unless the door is mentioned. The one in the back of the garden. But what could be behind that mysterious door? And why Reven isn’t allowed to go out? You shouldn’t try to know the truth…

Garden of Oblivion is a visual novel/point & click hybrid with horror elements.

  • Move around and question the animals
  • Solve some puzzles and try to unveil the garden's secrets
  • Two different endings are available: Reven's fate is in your hands

It was originally created in a weekend for Ludum Dare 30 with "Connected Worlds" as a theme.

Chronotopia: Second Skin releasing on October 13th

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1667530/Chronotopia_Second_Skin/ It’s been a long time since the release of Garden of Oblivion on Steam. The truth is that we’ve been busy working on our very first commercial game and devlopment didn’t exactly go as expected. But at long last, it’s done! If you happened to like the horror elements in Garden of Oblivion, you might want to take a look at Chronotopia: there's plenty of horrifying ways for the heroine to die (around 10)! Also, similar gameplay segments are present, though they're more scattered and infrequent due to the longer story. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/28585324/eaa83bfaeaa8c2d18f00cd7b36ff8bd27eed6e6b.gif The plan was supposed to be simple, almost ridiculously so. When her father, driven mad by years of grief, suddenly decided to force her into marrying him, Princess Kionna enlisted the help of her childhood friend. Together, they managed to contact her long-lost fairy godmother. Surely, her powers would save her from this hellish fate. Kionna would be able to escape the castle, a prince charming would find her, and they would live happily ever after. Alas, magic can only do so much. Things keep spinning out of control. Trapped in an endless nightmare, the princess ceaselessly rewinds time in a race with death itself. Is a happy ending truly waiting for her at the end of the tunnel? {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/28585324/1808f102ddfde528406ed88cb9951b0f474d9aaf.gif A captivating plot full of unexpected twists and existential dread Over 200 000 words of content with multiple endings (20-30 hours of playtime) 2 GxG (Nahima and Médeia) and 1 GxB (the "Prince") romances can be chosen at the end of Kionna’s journey Unlockable archives connecting the story to real-life European folklore Several gameplay phases to experience the semi-realistic medieval world in a different light Beautiful artwork, with animated backgrounds and special stained-glass illustrations Frequent use of cinematic shots to make the reading more immersive A full ...

Chronotopia: Second Skin - Now on Kickstarter!

We’re currently doing a crowdfunding campaign for Chronotopia: Second Skin, our very first commercial project. If you liked the atmosphere of Garden of Oblivion and how things kept getting worse, you might enjoy Chronotopia’s story as well~ https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32133628/0955b00dabc46c779406cec02ef08bd014f4adae.jpg Princess Kionna lives a peaceful existence in her castle, enjoying her days with her best friend and confidant, Nahima. That is until her father, gone mad since the death of his beloved, decides he should wed her instead. Kionna has to find a way to escape from this fate, but how? She doesn't know it yet, but it's the beginning of a long nightmare that will take her to the edge of madness... Chronotopia: Second Skin is a dark rewriting of the fairytale Donkeyskin inspired by a wide range of influences including anime like Haibane Renmei and Madoka Magica and games like Steins;Gate and Child of Light. The story is a unique and more mature take on a forgotten fairytale that includes many twists and choices that affect the ending: the princess can either escape with her servant, become a fairy, or die a horrible death. Multiple times. It's up to you to save...or doom her. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32133628/379c330da045f0ac355e2a46b245e5e02d995f06.jpg There’s a demo available so give it a go and consider pledging to the Kickstarter if you’d like the project to come true!

    Free games of the week

This week, I bring you a bunch of strange games to explore and think about during your weekend. In my bag of games, I have a super colorful, yet very challenging game about gaining souls and throwing creatures against much stronger creatures in hopes of destroying them. I have a game about being lost in a childlike mind – stuck in a world where you are forgetting yourself, trying to escape against the wishes of your old friends. A cool car racing game, where a giant decorated skull challenges you, and guides you through intense courses and even through space. A game following the thoughts of a serial killer, and another inside the mind of a detective that can t quite solve a case Plenty of new adventures and worlds for you to dive right into. (more…)

Garden of Oblivion Update 1.1 – German Translation

Thanks to all of you for your reception of Garden of Oblivion! I'm very happy to see that a modest little game made in a weekend can still be enjoyed. http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/32133628/e9e768ad86b641c23c0614bbfc0079ca7823123f.png We’ve uploaded a new version of the game with a German translation made by Marcel Weyers (many thanks to him). We also had to change the UI a bit to fit some of the words but it shouldn't be too visible.
