  Tavern goes Live!

  Greetings Seedlings,We are over the blood moon to say that the Tavern update is now live in Kynseed!It is now time to take on the role of tavern keeper and host with the most. You can welcome villagers through your doors, serve drinks and food, hire entertainers and build up another cosy little corner of your Kynseed life.This has been one of the most requested additions from the community, so we’re more excited than that time Herbert Lemon got a new woolly cloak, to finally get it into your hands. Thank you to everyone who helped test it, gave feedback, and kept asking us when the tavern was coming.The answer is: now!We hope you enjoy pulling non-alcoholic pints, feeding the locals, and making your tavern your own.But wait! What else has the news pig brought us from the Castle?Kynseed is also coming to consoles on August 4thWe’re also as pleased as Punch to confirm that Kynseed will launch on Switch, PS4, PS5, XBOX One and XBOX X|S on August 4th.That means more players will soon be able to grow a family legacy, run shops, explore Quill, and now, of course, manage their very own tavern.Thank you as always for supporting Kynseed.   Tavern goes Experimental

  Greetings Seedlings! It is Experimental Build time again! We have been locked in our cellar in PixelCount Castle concocting a nifty little update for your pleasure. This update needs your eyes and ears and brains to give us valuable feedback and flush out any nasty little issues that might be hidden away. So what is in this update, we hear you ask?Travel to Homesteads. There will will find a colourful lady called Peggy Spoonweather. Talk to her to find out what’s what.Peggy will sell you the HOMESTEADS TAVERN, if you have met the Grandmasters and unlocked the power to buy businesses.Once bought, you can hire staff, book entertainers, get Perks, serve food and drink and have a jolly old time running your very own tavern.The tavern is a great place to get NPCs in one place for completing tasks or even just meeting them for the first time.What to expect:Balance may need adjusting, but that’s what we need your feedback for.There ‘may’ be the odd bug, but hopefully nothing major. Again, let us know if something is awry, no matter how insignificant.More quality humour, which we know you love.Did we already say that you can OWN A TAVERN? Things to note: Installing this build will overwrite your current version of Kynseed. Existing saves stay in the Saves folder, whilst Experimental saves go into a new folder. If you want to return to the previous build, switch back to the default branch on Steam, where your previous saves will be intact. You won’t be able to load your Experimental saves into the default branch. We have bugs. We are working through them right now. If you spot any big ones, let us know - specifically crashes. We don’t see many crashes these days, but if you see one:Take a screenshot of the red crash screen using the Snipping tool in Windows and send it to us via the channel on Discord, or by email at bugs@pixelcountstudios.com.Also, send us your latest save, found in Kynseed/ExperimentalSaves.
