About this game

You are a snake. Not a normal one, though. Unlike the others, you were born with two heads.

Alone in an unknown underground place, you must find your way to the surface. For that, you have to learn how to use your unique movements, as you control both of your heads at the same time. Climb walls, open doors, push blocks, manipulate gravity and even find the mysterious magical food, as you challenge your wits and reflexes.

  • More than 100 official story levels to play.
  • Create your own levels and share them with the community!
  • Alternative playstyles as the game progress. Play with separated heads or even a single one.
  • No dialogs. Experience the story completely through gameplay.

    The End of an Era!

Dual SnakeToday, with heavy hearts but immense gratitude, we announce the end of service for Dual Snake's online features. It has been 7 years and 7 months since our beloved two-headed snake was released on January 31st, 2018. It has been an incredible journey, and we thank you all for being a part of it. Over the years, our server has been racking up costs, and the now-unsupported software it was running on finally gave out. While this marks the end of its online life, we've worked to ensure the spirit of the game lives on. We want to wholeheartedly thank every single person who has played, created, and competed in Dual Snake. Immortalizing the SnakeAll online services have now been migrated into permanent offline features. We made sure nothing was lost. The Level Editor now saves levels directly to your disk! You can find them in :\\Users\\ \\AppData\\Roaming\\Dual Snake\\userdata\\levels. You can still share levels with friends! Just have them place the files in this folder, and they'll be ready to play! All community-created levels that were ever uploaded are now bundled with the game. You can access this massive library of content from the Custom menu (formerly Online).All-time high scores have been immortalized. We have bundled the final leaderboards with the game after carefully removing impossible and cheated scores. The world records are now set in stone!New high scores are saved locally. You can still challenge yourself and your friends, competing against the immortalized world records on all main, side, and custom levels. Dual Snake's Legacy and Our FutureWe've moved on from Dual Snake, but we couldn't be more proud of what it became. It taught us so much and was the backbone of the experience that allowed us to create and launch our next game, Primateria. Our lovely two-headed snake even made the journey with us and is present in the game with a brand-new art style! You can check out Primateria here: And the adventure doesn't stop there. We are now hard a...

    Dual Snake goes Free-To-Play!

Dual Snake Exactly 3 years, 8 months, 28 days ago, Dual Snake was launched. It took us one year and one month of development, and it was an amazing ride, tough, but amazing nonetheless. This past week, we made a decision: We decided that we would make Dual Snake free-to-play! It's a bold move, but a good one, as we develop our new game Primateria, we wanted that the people who know our work, get to know our first game as well since our lovely two-headed snake will be present in Primateria. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/31676214/1efa52a3d4726d2457a09417c9dcb870a655001b.png Skin and badge Of course, for the people who had purchased the game before our change, they will receive a skin and a badge that goes next to their names. It's just a small token to thank all of you for supporting us. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/31676214/39a09aa94076f13b1e84097b72eda8323642834c.png Dual Snake and Primateria store.steampowered.com/app/1397130/Primateria/ For those that don't know yet, our two-headed snake is on Primateria, with a new art style, and it looks totally amazing! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/31676214/5ef8c2c2774ed4701613e4d3617c4e3fbbfeae39.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/31676214/1ee0c9d5833baef2702acefc6e61d15a2b8c7ee7.gif We hope that you come with us in this new adventure, and have fun along the way! Update 7.6 - Teleport blocks are here!

New block, new levels, new possibilities! After a stream of bug fixes and patches, we're happy to announce the first major update for Dual Snake! From the very beginning our team has put all effort into creating dynamic objects that can fluidly interact with each other in Dual Snake. Our objective is to always create elements that combined can bring infinite possibilities, puzzles and play styles. It was with that in mind that we decided to implement the teleport block. The brain killer puzzles require now even more engagement, careful thinking and, of course, motor skill to pass, as the teleport block creates a whole new experience for the game. https://i.imgur.com/KxVh0iW.png But unlike our previous updates, we wanted to shine more light into one of our favorite parts of the game: the community levels. Instead of releasing the new levels on the Story and Side levels, like we did in the last patch, we decided to implement the teleport block on the Level Editor, and release the new levels as Online Community Levels. We hope all of you enjoy making new levels with the new block as much as we do! Patch Notes Of course the new block is not the only new thing coming with version 7.6. We also took into account all the feedback you have sent us to make your gaming experience the best possible. This are the changes made with this new version: Fixed memory leak with sounds. Fixed a lot of physics interactions to better fit the teleport block Removed song loop on side levels, online and level editor mode. Now a new, random song is selected to play when the current song finishes playing. Fixed crashes, performance problems and screen fitting problems. Fixed not being able to find levels searching by the creator's name if it was changed. Added a notification pop-up to inform players of updates. Have fun!
