About this game
Meet the Seaweed:
Slice of Sea is a a peaceful adventure and puzzle game. You play as Seaweed, a sea creature in a metal armor clearly out of their element, as you find yourself at the beginning of the game in desolate mountains with no sea in sight.World:
This is the world of Daymare. Most of structures you'll find are abandoned. Entropy has set deep within its walls and it seems that as native inhabitants left long time ago, completely new menagerie was ready to settle in.Story:
Seaweed desperately needs to get back home, to the sea. There's a desert in between him and the shore. It's up to you to help him.Puzzles:
Seaweed's armor has legs, but no arms. That means that while you traverse this world by walking as Seaweed, he's counting on you, the overseeing omnipotent witness to solve all puzzles. Use keyboard to move around and mouse to interact with surroundings.Graphics:
Entire game was hand-drawn with ink on paper, which gives very specific character to all locations and creatures. There's nothing auto-generated nor procedural. Each location was thoughtfully designed. Stylized drawings give the game its eerie atmosphere.Music:
Ambient music was created by Thumpmonks and main theme song written and performed by Cat Jahnke.System Requirements

Check out and wishlist my next game > Daymare Town.
Daymare Town is a remaster tailored for a Steam release. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2619240/Daymare_Town/ Wishlist this game today and lets dive deep into the daymare madness once again in 2025. I want to finish developing this remaster early 2025, however there's no deadlines or dates set, since I don't even know how much new stuff I want to put in that game. It will feature not only all previous chapters of the main series, but small games as well, Daymare Cat, Stray, Kite and Invaders. And most likely much, much more. New locations, new puzzles, new side stories, new inhabitants and so on.Read full article on Community Announcements (Mat)AnnouncementsOfficial
Submachine Card Game
Hey guys! I designed a card game and it's ready to go! :D I will be launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund it on June 21st. If you'd like to help fund this game, please follow this project's page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mateuszskutnik/submachine-card-game This is a competitive card game. The goal is to be the first to play all cards from your hand. Complete deck consists of 100 cards: 64 room cards and 36 functional cards. These cards are 8x8 cm (3.1x3.1 inch) in size. The packaging of this game is very compact, the box is only 9x9x4.5 cm (3.5x3.5x1.8 inch) and fit's in the palm of your hand. You can take it with you in your backpack and play anywhere. In this game you take the role of a Submachine explorer assigned to an exploration team. Your task is not to escape, but to discover. You and your friends are on an assignment from the management to unearth new, unique Submachine location that you build from ground up using cards in your hand. More details, rule book and cards will be revealed once the campaign launches. I really hope You guys like this project and decide to back it on Kickstarter. :D Mateusz SkutnikRead full article on Community Announcements (Mat)Patch NotesOfficial
Major Update and Overhaul to version 2
TL;DR version: There's a new achievement for Halloween! And you can play with controller! ---- I strongly suggest starting new game with this update, as old save files might not be compatible with new architecture. ---- Entire game got full refactor and logic upgrade. This includes: Full controller support, now you can play entire game using your controller. This functionality was added in preparation for Steam Deck compatibility re-review, which means that while the game is not officially supported on Steam Deck, you can still play it on Steam Deck without any additional key and buttons remapping. You can check out key / gamepad bindings on new, restructured controls options screen. Updated entire code of the game, based on new Submachine: Legacy logic. With each subsequent game my code is getting better and more robust, therefore after releasing Submachine: Legacy I decided to go back to Slice of Sea and rewrite it to match better version of my code architecture. Added new cursor icon showing hotspot regions where an inventory item can be used. When you hover over an area where game expects you to use some inventory item, the cursor change will indicate that. Aristocrat and Collector achievements now trigger in-game, not in outro. As you collect final item needed for those achievements, they will trigger instantly. Reworked Tibet Drums availability to spin. Now you can spin them without finding drum order notes first. You still can't solve this puzzle without finding all needed notes first, but you can at least spin them and see the structure of the puzzle. There's a new achievement to unlock. It's Halloween-themed. Hunt them pumpkins. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/39307993/5e211ca0685b532fa912dda8b08a61eed0f13075.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/39307993/62007076b4e11442403b0afc312b5bbbc58d5d42.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/39307993/2e2bde33dbb03d4c6f0cabc303e94086a529c3c9.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/39307993/aeab4fd683ae3702a4fbd8ea5f00187c43a7d4b9.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/39307993/470c6b18f0c2a1...Read full article on Community Announcements (Mat)
