The most visually stunning representation of a real-world environment. This is a real location, a real art-gallery based in Auckland New Zealand. The art-work has been scanned to a level of detail not demonstrated in any other traditional VR experience.

About this game
The art-work in this lovely Victorian abode was captured independently from the environment. Scanned at a level of detail not demonstrated in any other traditional VR experience. Hence the 24GB file size.
This experience is a teaser of what is to come. A living, breathing art gallery with dynamically & accurately represented real-world content constantly dynamically changing overtime. Brought in and out of exhibition. In addition, expansion of the space to the entirety of this beautiful place will be eventually unlocked in it's grandeur. Though for now. Do enjoy this uncanny experience of realism.
The art collection in question is held by Sir James Wallace and the Wallace Trust. His collection is extensive.
IMPORTANT: This is a simulation of a real world environment. If you are more interested in gaming, this experience is not for you. It is simply the art of going to an art gallery for arts sake. We also appreciate your support in allowing this experience to grow.

Major update: Oculus Rift Support / Improved GFX / Improved Audio / Experimental Locamotion / Narration.
The Homestead now has Oculus Support / Verbal Narration / Experimental Locamotion Support for total freedom of movement / Exterior Weather with Ocean Views on a gloomy New Zealand day. Also a surreal bonus level that allows you to walk on the paintings just like you've always wanted to. Also graphic settings can be controlled from within the game, from Low / Med / High using numbers 1 to 3. Most parties will want to use 1 or 2 if you have a 1070 or so. Oh also I threw in a few of The System Era tracks from my rock'n'roll days. Don't worry you can mute it with our extensive gamification.Read full article on Community Announcements (thesystemera)AnnouncementsOfficial
Audio issues will be resolved.
Have noticed that on some systems the audio is lagging and delayed in regards to spacial movement. Will be using baked audio in future as teh quality is still very good and will also allow for better framerate. Will push an update in the coming week..Read full article on Community Announcements (thesystemera)Patch NotesOfficial
Massive Performance Update has been pushed.
So we've managed to get the performance right up there as we expected. Our next big update in the coming weeks will be a dramatic file size resolve plus a number of requests for locomotion and what I've been wanting to do for ages, the whole travelling inside the paintings as if they are mountain ranges etc. Anyhow. Really happy with this performance boost considering the graphical quality of this experience. Cheers.Read full article on Community Announcements (thesystemera)Patch NotesOfficial
Big Performance Update Coming
Just wanted to announce that a big update in performance will be coming in the next nine to twelve days. This update will be light. You will see approx a 40% boost in framerate allowing for Vive Pro enthusiasts to get a good 45-90fps on a GTX 1080 if our calculations are correct. If we get time, we'll also be pushing a more conclusive UI with performance tweaks and gfx settings. Also some narrative will be present for many of the artworks. Will keep everyone posted as development continues. Thank you for your support. Cheers from New Zealand.Read full article on Community Announcements (thesystemera)
