Embark on thrilling space races against the clock in Arcade Moonlander. This 2017 indie game combines action and adventure for a casual yet exciting experience by Daniel Paul Griffin.
About this game
Arcade Moonlander is a challenge of precision and timing. Maneuver the craft to the landing pad before the fuel runs out. Be sure to land gently and vertically. And look out for satellites and space-worms! They will get you.

Arcade Mode has no time limit or lives, and the game saves progress automatically upon level completion. There are best times saved out for each level, as well as an overall best time for completing the 20 levels. Follow the radar toward your goal and access the tutorial at any time during play.

Adventure Mode encompasses a MUCH larger map and utilizes teleport pads to provide the player with a means of progression, as well as a checkpoint. You will encounter many more dynamic obstacles such as gravity wells, space worms, falling stalactites and more! There are also several paths through the level allowing players of all skill levels a rewarding experience. By discovering Fuel Tanks, it is also possible to complete all paths in one run for the die-hard fans. Use the mini-map to explore, locate and obtain your goals.

Procedural mode introduces a procedural level generator capable of providing an infinite number of levels. There are currently 3 different play modes. Quest, Time Trial and Practice. There is a leader board for Quest mode progress, and for Time Trial. Each game has a seed that can be used to replay those exact levels, or a random seed can be used for exploration. The procedural map generator is still in development and can currently only generate one style of map at varying difficulties. Future updates will see other map styles added to the generation capabilities.
Arcade Moonlander was designed for speed runs from the start and features a robust timing and score system. While secrets and hidden fuel tanks provide casual replay-ability.
Features:
30 exciting, fast-paced 'Arcade' levels.
Expansive 'Adventure' level that focus on exploration and more dynamic fun.

Retro Sci-Fi art style and soundtrack.

Quest and Time Trial leader boards have been added!
Hello everyone :) I am very happy to announce the new leader boards for Quest and Time Trial modes. The leader board for Quest mode tracks the highest level the player has beaten, while the leader board for Time Trial tracks the fastest the player was able to complete 10 procedurally generated levels. I can't wait to see some of the record attempts for these categories :) Thanks to all the players and good luck with the RNG!Read full article on Community Announcements (Back of Nowhere Games)Patch NotesOfficial
Arcade Moonlander Procedural Update
Hello everyone :) I am very pleased to announce the third update for Arcade Moonlander is now live! This update brings the arcade mode level count up to 30, with 10 new hand crafted levels. There is also a brand new procedural level generator with multiple game modes. The generator is still in beta and work is on going. Due to player request I have also made changes to the landing mechanics. The landing is now tolerant to higher velocities and steeper angles. Basically landing just got easier :) I have fixed a lot of UI scaling issues as well as a lot of collision accuracy issues. There have been major performance optimisations and some of the bugs surrounding achievements have been rectified.Read full article on Community Announcements (Back of Nowhere Games)AnnouncementsOfficial
Crisis Price Reduction
Hello everyone :) I recently did an Easter giveaway for Arcade Moonlander and the response has been amazing! I originally wanted to do a longer giveaway but that is unfortunately not supported. Instead I have decided to do the next best thing and reduce the price of the game as much as I can for at least 3 months. There is currently an active player community around the game and I would like to do anything I can to support that. So until at least 31/7/2020, Arcade Moonlander will be on sale for 99c Have fun and stay safe :)Read full article on Community Announcements (Back of Nowhere Games)Community & EventsOfficial
