About this game

No King No Kingdom is a unique blend of Real-Time Strategy (RTS) and First-Person RPG. Forget the classic top-down management — here, you command your servants directly, leading them from the front lines.
Build your own kingdom, erect mighty fortresses, and raise an army to withstand hordes of enemies. During your wanderings, you will encounter multiple magical creatures that you can tame to serve as combat units or even mounts. Riding a dragon over the battlefield or storming enemy walls on a giant elephant will completely change the tide of war. Explore wild lands, discover mystical artifacts, and decide the fate of mankind!

🛡️ First-Person RTS – Deeply immersive gameplay with direct, hands-on control of your units in battle.
🏰 Local Base Building – Construct walls, defensive towers, farms, and barracks to secure your domain.
🌍 Global Expansion – Build your kingdom on the global map by establishing villages, mines, sawmills, and plantations.
⏳ Full Real-Time World – Time never stops, forcing you to think and act quickly both in local skirmishes and on the global stage.
🎲 Endless Replayability – Generate unique sandbox maps with a wide variety of customizable options.
⚔️ Hiring & Progression – Recruit diverse troops, perform upgrades, and unlock brand-new units as you progress through the game.
👹 Epic Battles – Fight off massive hordes of aggressive monsters and defeat powerful, challenging bosses.
🐉 Unique Mounts – Ride Dragons, Elephants, Men???
🐍 Creature Taming – Bend wild beasts to your will, including giant Golems, deadly Spiders, and massive Snakes.
🎭 Avatar System – Take full control of your army by stepping into the shoes of any unit to use them as your personal avatar.
👥 Local Co-op (Split-Screen) – Play with a friend! Player 1 acts as the ruler, while Player 2 plays as a loyal companion who can carry the king, gather resources, heal units, and fight side-by-side in battle.

Update 18.1 — Unit Leveling & Progression!
Hi everyone! Update 18.1 is officially here, bringing a massive progression system along with brand-new ways to gain EXP across the map, performance optimizations, and tweaks for both players! ⚔️ Unit Leveling System All army units (excluding buildings) can now level up and become significantly stronger! Stat Boost: Each level increases a unit's Max HP and Attack Damage by +10%. Level Cap (Level 9): Units are currently capped at Level 9. (I'm considering adding special methods or mechanics in future updates that will allow units to break past this limit!)Combat EXP: Defeating an enemy converts their total Max HP into experience points (1 HP = 1 EXP). 50% goes directly to the King. 50% is shared equally among all army units within a 100m radius. ⚖️ Balancing & Leveling Formula Stronger units require more experience to rank up. Base EXP threshold is calculated as: Base EXP = 100 + (10% of HP) + Damage Each subsequent level requires 50% more EXP than the previous one. Front-line tanks level up faster to offset incoming damage, while high-damage ranged units progress more steadily. 👑 Player (King) ProgressionKing's Experience: The King’s EXP system is now active! While the skill tree is still under development and skill points can't be spent yet, all earned EXP is safely stored. Once the skill shop releases, you’ll be able to spend all your saved points immediately. King Avatar: Entering a King Avatar levels it up like a standard unit, while your main King character continues earning player EXP as usual. 🎒 World Interactions & Alternative EXP Sources Progression isn't just about combat — many of your actions and tools now reward the King with experience! Building EXP: Constructing buildings awards experience equal to 50% of the structure's total HP.Mushrooms & Chests: Collecting mushrooms or opening chests grants +10 EXP (gathering is twice as satisfying now!). Global Map Resources: Picking up resources awards +25 EXP. Artifacts: Picking up an artifact grants +100 EXP. ...Read full article on Community Announcements (FullmetalDeveloper)Patch NotesOfficial
Devlog: Work in Progress — Upcoming Update 18.1 (Unit Leveling System)
Hi everyone!I'm currently working on Update 18.1, which will introduce a fully-fledged experience and leveling system for your army. I wanted to share a progress update on how these new mechanics and the EXP math are coming together!⚔️ Unit Progression (In Development)All units (excluding buildings) will soon gain experience in battle. Each new level will empower the unit by granting +10% to its base Max HP and Attack Damage.📊 How EXP Gain WorksDefeating Enemies: When you defeat an enemy, its total HP converts directly into experience (e.g., a mob with 100 HP grants 100 EXP).50% of the EXP goes directly to the King.50% of the EXP is shared equally among all units in your army within a 100-meter radius.Building: Constructing a building will award the player experience equal to 50% of that building's total HP.⚖️ Balance & Leveling FormulaStronger units will require more experience to rank up. A unit's base experience threshold (BaseExp) accounts for both survivability and combat power:{BaseExp} = 100 + (10% of HP) +{Damage}Each subsequent level demands 50% more EXP than the previous one (1.5x growth factor). This design ensures that high-damage, ranged units level up slightly slower since they attack safely from the backline, while front-line tanks progress faster to compensate for taking damage.👑 Player 2 ProgressionPlayer 2 will level up like a standard unit, but their progress will be saved independently! You will be able to swap Player 2's character body or disable/enable them freely without losing any accumulated level or experience data.🔮 What’s Next?In future updates after 18.1, leveling up a King will reward you with skill points that can be spent on various player abilities and perks.⚠️ Note: This is all active Work in Progress! Parameters are currently being playtested and will likely receive further balance tweaks before the official update release. Thanks for all your support! Feel free to share your thoughts and feedback on these upcoming mechanics in the c...Read full article on Community Announcements (FullmetalDeveloper)Patch NotesOfficial
