About this game

The POSTAL Dude is back!
Several years have passed since the events that devastated the once proud town remembered as Paradise. The only two to walk away from the cataclysm unscathed, the hapless everyman known as the POSTAL Dude and his loyal companion Champ, drive aimlessly through the scorching deserts of Arizona looking for a new place to call home. After a fortuitous gas station rest stop ends with their car, trailer home, and the rest of their worldly possessions stolen, all the Dude’s seemingly got left to his name is his canine cohort and his bathrobe, and neither of them smells all that great. However, on the horizon, the duo glimpses an unfamiliar and dazzling town that beckons to them. What untold prospects lie within? Fame? Fortune? Maybe a bidet or two? Edensin awaits.
POSTAL 4: No Regerts is a satirical and outrageous comedic open world first person shooter and the long-awaited true sequel to what’s been fondly dubbed as "The Worst Game Ever™", POSTAL 2! (No third game is known to exist.)

Key Features
- Approach your errands in a non-linear fashion within total free roam, open world, sandbox gameplay! Seek out optional side quests for additional rewards! Or ignore all of that and just cause general pandemonium at your own leisure in the town of Edensin!
- Pick-Yer-Dude! Choose Jon St. John, industry veteran and legendary voice for Duke Nukem, as the voice of the POSTAL Dude! Or go with returning fan favorites Rick Hunter (P1 & P2), Corey Cruise (PIII), and Zack Ward (The Movie) as alternate voice choices, giving you more POSTAL Dude than ever at your fingertips!
- Enjoy full freedom in your choice of pacifist vs. aggressive playstyle! Plenty of new tools to support your (mostly) peaceful confrontations, but violence is still always an option too!
- Brandish an over-the-top arsenal, from the devastating boom of the quadruple-barreled Fournicator to the feathered chaos of the Pigeon Mine!
- Add that POSTAL twist to your weaponry with potent power-ups such as the classic Cat Silencer, the slow motion-inducing Catnip, and the dual wielding Energy Drink! Supercharge your fists, mighty foot, and urethra with a dose of the testicle-shrinking Vitamin X!
- Discover unique weapon combos and capabilities! Combine a feline with a Grenade or the Rocket Launcher for some mobile explosive pussy! Mix a little Catnip with your Hunting Rifle to curve every bullet to its exact mark! Feeling down? Use the Rattler to grapple your way to new heights!
- Experience a bevy of interactivity as you feed Doggie Treats to strays to gather canine armies to do your dirty work, stock up on inventory (for a price!) at automated Vending Machines, and, for the first time ever in the franchise, use and flush functioning toilets!

Co-op Public Release (1.7.0)
Co-op Public Release (1.7.0) It’s been a very long time coming, but today marks the full public release of co-op for POSTAL 4, after a period of time in public beta. You got POSTAL 4 co-op before GTA 6!Pick your favorite POSTAL dude voice and jump on-line with up to three others. Public and private lobbies are supported, as well as the ability to drop in and out. The entire game can be finished in co-op, or you can simply jump into free roam and cause mayhem together. Or not! POSTAL 4 is only as violent as you are, after all. For anyone not aware of the action wheel, co-op is where it finally gets to shine. Holster your weapon with Middle mouse, and then hit the right mouse button to select from a range of actions, from flipping off your fellow co-op buddies, to twerking together. And yes, you can use it to pet the dog! In addition to co-op, there have been some modest performance improvements which we’ll be further building on for the next update after this one. We also added an optional shader pre-compiler step on first load to help combat shader stutter when entering a new area. Thanks, as always, for sticking with us! Fixes new saves being flagged as old saves. Fixes Meet associate map icon not showing up on TuesdayRead full article on Community Announcements (Toploader)Patch NotesOfficial
Major Unturdification update (1.6.0)
This update focuses on polish, quality of life improvements, bug fixing, balancing and tying up a lot of obvious loose ends based on community feedback. The aim is to make the game more enjoyable for veterans and new comers alike. Work very much will continue in this area going forward with smaller, more frequent updates to follow. That's not to say P4 will never see any new features or content, but that will come after more polish focused updates. While we have left older saves compatible (but flagged), it's recommended to start a new game with this update. The previous build (1.5.0) is available in the beta branch should anyone want to roll back to carry on with an in-progress save. The Beta branch has also been updated and includes many improvements and fixes for co-op (co-op is still exclusive to the beta branch, but is edging close to a public release) The public beta branch can be accessed and switched to via the main in-game menu and does not require a password. Updated overhead map textures to better reflect the current lap layout. It also removes the prison area as that now has its own map when loaded into that level. Starting a new day, respawning and getting arrested now restores the players health to fullFiring a weapon or aiming down sights now cancels sprinting. Mirrors are now interactable; the dude no longer repeats a dialogue every time he passes one. Fixed much of the pop-in when entering loading zones. Fixed a lot of pop-in while roaming the open world. Cat Dude's attacks now properly trigger blood effects. While weapon and power-up wheels are active, players can no longer throw weapons or power-ups by mistake. Interactables now take priority over reload when highlighted. Fixed physics object pickup logic — objects can now be picked up before waking them with a kick, etc. Increased Dude Eye range by 25%. Added rumble and camera shake to fall damage The default radio station is now set to KDTF. Increased Nitro recharge rate and duration. Increased g...Read full article on Community Announcements (Toploader)AnnouncementsOfficial
POSTAL 4: No Regerts - Public Beta 1.5.0.2
Hello all! You might have seen the announcement of our new project out next year, Flesh & Wire! https://runningwithscissors.com/games/flesh-and-wire/ This does NOT mean work on P4 has ended. We still have a core team working on P4 and furthermore, some of the talent we've hired to work on F&W (such as a tech artist and lighting artist) will also be contributing to help further polish P4 over the course of the coming year. Today we've updated the Public Beta branch, available via the in-game main menu-select it from there and it'll reboot the game into the beta branch. It contains progress toward the upcoming ‘Polishing a Turd’ update. This patch focuses on resolving numerous intrusive bugs, refining game balance, AI and combat improvements, and several quality-of-life improvements. Co-op stability and functionality have also seen enhancements. Sorry if a change you hoped to see has not made this patch, we are still monitoring feedback and will keep on polishing the game for the foreseeable future.Version 1.5.0.2 Beta Players now respawn with full health and begin each new day with full health NPCs now exhibit more varied combat behavior: they no longer all draw weapons and fire simultaneously, and are more likely to issue warnings before attacking When attacked by pigeons, NPCs enter a panicked state and are unable to shoot the player (bosses remain unaffected) Cat Dude’s attacks now properly trigger blood effects Go Postal events now autosave upon successful completion and reset spawners on failure, allowing players to retry Phone: Smooth continuous scrolling is now enabled for Krotchy’s Tips using gamepad analog sticks, eliminating the need for repeated inputs. The menu now scrolls to the end when selected, rather than the top While weapon and power-up wheels are active, players can no longer throw weapons or power-ups Pressing Fire, Alt Fire, or Zoom now cancels sprinting Keypress prompts have been added to keypads and lockers for clarity Mirrors are now interact...Read full article on Community Announcements (Toploader)
