About this game
Turn Mahjong into a scoring engine that grows stronger with every move.
Mahjong Rush is an ink-wash style mahjong roguelike deckbuilding game.
No four-player battles. No discards, calls, or dealing into someone else’s hand.
Your goal is simple: sit down at one table after another and use Chows, Pongs, Kongs, Discards, Talismans, and Plays to push your score past the target line.
Start with an ordinary hand. Build it, shape it, and turn it into your own scoring engine.
🀄 Chips × Multiplier — One Explosive Payoff
Every Play is scored independently:
Chips × Multiplier
Chows, Pongs, and Kongs stay on the table, continuously providing Chips and Multiplier.
Honor tiles, sequences, triplets, formations… every part of your hand can become a new source of power.
Once your Multiplier is high enough, a single winning hand can send your score sky-high.
Build, charge, cash out — that is what it means to WIN WIN WIN.
🗺️ Route Map — Every Step Is a Choice
Each run unfolds across a roguelike route map.
At every branch, you choose one node and leave the other behind:
Normal Tables — steady and reliable.
High-Score Tables — risky, but rich with rewards.
Shops — buy Flower Cards, Talismans, and Relics.
Yokai Bosses — tough battles with punishing special rules.
Gold and your build carry forward throughout the run.
Every choice pushes your game in a different direction.
🎴 Flower Cards, Talismans, and Relics — Build Your Own Playstyle
100+ Flower Cards — in-run passives that reshape scoring, Multiplier, Chows, Pongs, Kongs, and economy.
10+ Talismans — one-use active items that can turn the tide at critical moments.
30+ Relics — long-term passive upgrades that form the core of your snowballing engine.
Buy, sell, refresh the shop, or spin the wheel of fate for new card pools.
No two runs play out the same.
🔥 Advanced Winning Hands — Let the Numbers Spiral Higher
As the game progresses, unlock more advanced winning hands:
Big Three Dragons, All Green, Four Kongs, Thirteen Orphans, and more.
The rarer the hand, the more outrageous the Multiplier.
Combine Flower Cards, Relics, Talismans, and the perfect timing for your winning hand, and watch the score climb higher and higher.
A brush of ink.
A perfect table.
This round, let’s see if you can truly — Mahjong Rush!

Friendlier for Newcomers: Assist Mode, Brightness, Reworked Tutorial & Routes
♟ An Update Built for New PlayersAssist Mode A new Assist Mode toggle (switch it anytime in Settings; you'll also be asked on first launch). When on, every tile shows a small badge on top — numbers for suited tiles, letters for honors (Winds = E/S/W/N, and R/G/W for the dragons) — so you can read your hand at a glance even without knowing the tile faces.Fully Reworked Tutorial The tutorial has been redesigned to be more focused and easier to follow: it highlights exactly which tiles to tap, step by step, from chi/pong/kong all the way to winning. With Assist Mode on, it also walks you through the suits and the full deck.Friendly Opening (First Two Rounds) In the first two rounds, the public tile area is guaranteed to offer tiles you can chi or pong — no more "stuck with nothing to do" openings for new players.♟ Gameplay & UI ImprovementsRefreshed Routes Each run's route has been reworked: the first stop is always a Normal Table, and after the Shop you choose between a Bounty Table or a Mystery Event → High-Score Table. You can now click any table on the map to preview its target score and rewards.Visual & Interface PolishNew brightness slider — the whole screen reads calmer with richer colorsThe Shop now groups Flowers / Fu Cards / Relics into clear sectionsAdded a "Heavenly Wait" entry to the in-game glossaryExtensive text and localization improvementsThanks for playing the MAHJONG RUSH demo!
