  Full in-house operating system gameplay is now live

  Chairmen, let's keep moving forward.This update brings the complete OS Department. It serves as a stepping stone between the phone business and in-house chips: a meaningful part of your company, with reasonable profits and far lower resource demands than the Chip Department.Investing R&D Points alone will only make your own operating system mediocre. Its potential for limitless growth comes from its “Ecosystem Size”. You need to keep installing your OS on your own devices to grow its Installed Base and encourage more developers to build enough applications for it. You can set up an incentive fund to speed up application development, though diminishing returns will gradually set in.Your OS score does not rise automatically as its ecosystem grows. You need to keep releasing updates. We have also added an Automatic Update Plan to reduce the amount of manual work.Once your own OS is far enough ahead, devices running it will receive a sales bonus greater than the one provided by in-house chips. You can also set the Store Commission rate to earn ongoing revenue.The OS Department's “Intelligent Assistant” research tree is also a prerequisite for exploring the AI foundation-model business, which is not available yet. This business is a long-term pursuit for the very late game. Meanwhile, the physique built up by Exercise not only extends your lifespan but also raises your Energy. Keep exercising and, with low Stress, months with 2 AP will show up from time to time. That is when the ROM Forum side hustle—Brand Deal—lets you build up seed capital fast. If you watch “This Month’s Calendar” on the home page, you will find a key indicator of the stock market cycle.   This update introduces the complete in-house chip gameplay system.This market is larger than the phone market and offers extremely high profit margins. Most of the competition unfolds before 2042. You will invest R&D Points and years of development, taking chip technology step by step to its limits.Technical exploration has limits, but courage does not. As long as a chip has not been released, you can use the “Ascent Program” at any time to try to push your Chip Prototype even further. This demands vast amounts of R&D Points and carries the risk of destroying the prototype. The “Ascent Program” gives your chip unlimited room to grow—but it can also wipe out years of work.Once you take the lead, you can sell your in-house chips externally for enormous profits, or reserve them for your own phones to gain a Phone Appeal advantage. When you publicly list your chips, you must allocate phone-factory capacity to meet demand. A phone built on an in-house chip uses double the phone factory capacity.In the future, your in-house chips will also tie into your AI foundation-model company. Only a company with the most powerful compute-resource matrix may survive this cash-burning war.This update also adds six unique specialists to the Chip Department.
