About the Game

Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening is a sci-fi idle progression game about rebuilding a shattered colony ship after it crashes on an unknown alien world.

The Ark was built to carry humanity across the stars, but something went wrong. Now the ship lies broken beneath a dark alien jungle, its systems offline, its crew scattered, and its memory fractured. What begins as a desperate struggle to restore power slowly becomes something much deeper as the Ark begins to reveal signs of a mystery buried inside its damaged systems.

You begin with only basic crew labor. Every click represents the survivors pushing the wreckage back toward life one repair at a time. Generate Energy, salvage broken components, rebuild equipment, unlock storage systems, and restore the damaged technology needed to keep the Ark alive.

As your progress grows, manual effort gives way to automation. Restored systems, drones, fabrication tools, and optimization upgrades begin to take over the work, allowing your recovery operation to keep expanding even while you are away.

But the Ark is not simply broken.

Something inside it remembers.

Progress deeper into layered idle systems, unlock new menus, restore lost functions, and discover strange anomalies tied to time, memory, and the long awakening of the Ark itself.

What to Expect

  • Idle and clicker progression built around gathering Energy, repairing systems, and expanding production.

  • Resource management through salvage, equipment, storage, and long-term upgrade planning.

  • Automation systems that gradually reduce manual effort and increase passive growth.

  • Prestige-style progression that lets you reset parts of your recovery in exchange for stronger permanent upgrades.

  • A sci-fi story layer that unfolds as the Ark’s damaged systems come back online.

  • Crew-based expansion as survivors become part of the larger recovery effort.

  • Exploration and mystery tied to the alien world surrounding the crash site.

  • Long-term incremental growth designed for players who enjoy steady upgrades, layered systems, and watching numbers climb.

Rebuild the Ark

Repair damaged systems. Restore lost technology. Expand production. Recover what was buried in the wreckage.

Each upgrade brings the Ark closer to waking, but every restored system raises new questions. Why did the Ark fall? What survived inside its memory? And what is waiting beyond the first layer of recovery?

The Ark has fallen.

The crew is waiting.

The long awakening has begun.

v2.0.1 is live — the ECHOES tab stays open now

**🔧 v2.0.1 is live — the ECHOES tab stays open now** If you tapped **ECHOES** on the **ANOMALY** screen and got thrown straight back to the main panel, that was a bug, not you. Echo upgrades were impossible to buy. **What was happening** Anomaly and Awakening have shared one screen since 2.0.0. The Awakening side's lock was re-asserting itself by resetting the *Anomaly* side — and it did that unconditionally, twice a second. It hit everyone who had entered the Time Anomaly but hadn't yet unlocked the Awakening, which is most of you. Selecting ECHOES survived about half a second before it snapped back. Half a second is exactly how often that screen refreshes — which is what gave the cause away. **Thank you** to the commander who sent the screen recording. Counting frames in it pinned the bug before a single line of code was read. Reports like that are worth more than you'd think. Nothing else has changed — no balance, no content, no save changes. Your progress carries over untouched.

    Horizons — The Exploration Expansion

Your progress is safeNo reset. Nothing you already own is taken away. Everything you have charted, crafted and unlocked carries forward into Horizons. Exploration is now seven tabsWhat was a single screen becomes Teams, Missions, Regions, Modules, Discoveries, Projects and Frontier — each opening as you earn it, not all at once. Missions A four-card board. SAFE takes the guaranteed haul; BOLD risks it for double — and a miss still pays the safe haul, so a bold call is never a loss. Rewards are quoted the moment you LAUNCH, which means parking a mission to wait for a better multiplier can no longer change what it is worth. Regions Chart a region to open its deep route. Master it to unlock STABILIZED, trading the hazard for reliability. Every route states exactly what it yields and what it costs before you commit. Modules Five ranks each, and a rank's price is quoted once and never rises. Six advanced schematics unlock through Projects. Discoveries A 48-entry field catalog. Charting a region files its first entry; missions there turn up the rest. Complete a set for a permanent bonus, and point RESEARCH FOCUS at one to double it. Projects Twelve permanent works, four stages each. Contributions survive a Legacy Cycle, and a stage's price never rises — so raising production always makes an old project easier, never harder. Frontier Eight segments per Legacy Cycle, each banking a permanent CONTINUITY ATLAS credit. Atlas ranks are kept across every cycle you will ever run. The interface has been rebuiltNew frame art throughout, and a single nav rail down the side in place of buttons scattered across the Bridge. Screens that used to hide inside other screens are pages of their own now: Statistics, Daily Login, ARK Recovery Orders and the Token Store. Related screens merged rather than multiplied — Events joined Goals as PROGRESS, Awakening joined ANOMALY, Automation joined BUILD, and Deep Surge folded into BOOST. Ranking moved onto your Player profile, and Legacy became a s...

    v1.9.8 "Restitution" is live

⚡ v1.9.8 "Restitution" is live Your progress is safe — no reset, and nothing you already own is taken away. This one gives back things the game was quietly taking. 🕐 Offline time no longer vanishes Coming back after hours away sometimes credited you 0 or 1 second. Your time away was being wiped by the game's own start-up before it was ever counted. It's now measured before anything can touch it. Reported by Xeen and kokoro3694. 🔋 Max boost is yours to spend Max-boost rewards (daily, objectives, season pass, comeback) no longer start burning the second they arrive. They're banked — press PLAY when you want them, PAUSE to keep the rest. It pauses itself when the bank runs out, so nothing is spent while you're away. The bank holds up to 24 hours, and the panel shows exactly what you have. It also now says plainly that max boost applies to the three main Surge bars only — not Deep Surge. ☁️ You can overwrite your cloud save Saving to cloud used to do nothing when the cloud held a higher-level save — while still telling you it saved. You can now replace it deliberately, after two confirmations showing both levels. Automatic saves are unchanged and still protect you from a stale device. Reported by Omega Guardian. 📖 The Story Archive tells you what it wants Records you haven't recovered yet now list what unlocks them, instead of just counting how many are missing. 🗄️ Archive Recompiling now needs 180 total branch upgrades instead of 300. The old target cost astronomically more than it paid. Reported by Xeen.

⚡ Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening — Update 1.9.7 "Clarity" The Archive now keeps everything it promised, Recovery Orders complete however you get there, and the Ark Map stops pointing you at something you already own. Your progress is safe — no reset, and nothing you own is taken away. The Archive is fully preserved now • 📚 Own Preserve Archive Research? The Core Index nodes at the bottom of the Archive — the ones bought with Memory Cores — now survive a Legacy Cycle too. Before, only the six branch tracks came back and you had to re-buy the rest. (thanks Xeen) Recovery Orders • ✅ "Open the ___ tab" steps now complete when you open the tab yourself, not only via the order's GO TO button. Affected the Core Matrix, Archive, Crew, Memories, Equipment, Boost Upgrades, Daily and Player tabs. Ark Map • 🗺️ The Ark Map no longer lists the Core Matrix as your next unlock after you've already unlocked it — it now points you at the Legacy Cycle. (thanks DiamondG) Translations • 🌍 The whole Ark Map panel — every goal, next unlock and prestige explanation, plus the phase and campaign headings — is now translated in all 32 languages instead of showing English.

    v1.9.6 "Reckoning"

**Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening — v1.9.6 "Reckoning"** Your progress is safe — a Legacy Cycle now keeps MORE than before, and nothing you own is taken away unless you choose to Hard Reset. **KEPT THROUGH A LEGACY CYCLE** • Your Research ▸ ARK upgrades now stay with you through a Legacy Cycle — they only reset on a full Hard Reset. • Own a Preserve Exploration card? Your crews stay unlocked right after a cycle — no restart needed. **CHALLENGES NOW HELP THE MAIN GAME** • Every Challenge you clear gives a permanent +2.5% to all basic and exploration resource production. Clear more to stack it — the total shows on the Challenges page. **FASTER LEGACY RESET** • The long freeze when starting a Legacy Cycle on a deep account is greatly reduced. **FIXED (thanks Xeen)** • Global Goals now counts your Memory Cores contribution, and your share no longer shows above 100%. • Deep Ark-Side Capital resolutions matter again — the Names bonus per rank is no longer capped. **CLEARER** • The Signal page now explains, on hover, exactly how each readiness bar reaches 100%. • Starting a Legacy Cycle reminds you to spend your banked time, Lessons and resources first. **HARD RESET** • A Hard Reset (normal and ARK-Cores-included) now also resets your player level. A Legacy Cycle keeps your level, as before.
